I'd love to see more Devlin, perhaps John Smith has tired of him? I guess vampires don't do over-exposure!

Just found a copy of "The Dead Man" in WHSmiths. This is perfect. Great intro & Ridgway interview, cracking end papers. Best book yet?

Simping Detective forces you to slow down as a reader and do a lot of work. Maybe more comics should push the reader a bit. It could have a been a "sin city" piss take but is actually fantastic.

Loved the Simping Detective - dense, atmospheric & very funny. The art is simply stunning, easily up there with the best 2000ad stuff ever. In comparison the DeMarco stuff is a bit anaemic - it's fine but never catches fire. I'd never thought of the comparison with Alias/Jessica Jones before. Great endpapers, cover, interview etc. These volumes continue to impress. Glad there's news of a Wally Squad issue - hopefully some Brett Ewins greatness. Looking forward to Deadman!

I really don't want the Bad Company art to ape Brett. I think it has a punkiness & energy that is similar without in any way copying Brett. Loving the halftone!

Sold out in store as well! They're taking a waiting list in case payment doesn't clear.

Really strong podcast. Love that 2000ad doesn't tow a company line but enjoys it's flaws. Garth's breakdowns of the Mega Epics was insightful - I too loved City of the Damned, even if I don't agree with him about Oz. Keep up the excellent work!

Did I imagine a story where Dredd comes to our time. Was it ok - I read the odd issue but maybe it was a feverish dream. It seems a bit Star Trek

I love the mystery about future volumes. I was quite excited about the similar DC comics collection until I realised all the volume titles were listed (and they weren't including their classic stories). It's odd to enjoy being kept in the dark - and my knowledge of 2000ad isn't good enough to guess what might be in Target Dredd etc. This series has been fantastic so far despite repro problems and printing glitches.

They are  for sale now in Gosh in Soho and look great. Only just realised they taken off the caption box top left...

I admire the cherry pickers amongst you. When the toothless gaps in your collections spines stare down at you, you don't blink. How do you do it?

Is nightmares set after Necropolis? I'm thinking of the Steve Dillon story? With Yassa Povey.

Seconded! Hopefully more John Ridgway goodness!
