Genndy Tartakovsky would do a good job at an animated adaptation and what about those guys that did those Aeon Flux shorts way back when?

The original title for this topic was to be Internet Dick but I don't know if that would be allowed.

This kind of arsehole makes me want to puke:

Now, I know that Millar doesn't have many fans on this site but you have to agree that he's right on the money here and is at least doing something about dicks like this.

I only hope that the female members of this noble forum have not suffered such sick abuse.

I remember playing Speedball - a hyperactive dose of headbutts groin-kicking and chainsaws! It would have made Joey Barton weep like a wuss!

A tragic end to a talented director.

Very sad news. The Stainless Steel Rat series were the first mature/adult science fiction novels I read as a kid. (This was before the 2000ad adaptation), having cut my literary milk teeth on Dr Who tie-ins. A great writer with a great sense of humour who will be sadly missed.

Amen to that Davey. Romana was the posh totty of Dr Who. Sad news indeed.

Yes Borntohula I'll have to add White Jazz to the mountain of books waiting for me to read. And Syne, go on it's a great book.

I'm a fan of Ellroy. I love his prose. So expressive. So economical. So succinct. Like a punch to the throat.

I've read and enjoyed the autobiography My Dark Places, LA Confidential Black Dahlia and the Cold Six Thousand.

Terrible news. My thoughts go to the victims and the bereaved.

The Exorcist is an outstanding film, a real breakthrough picture especially at the time of release. The first time I saw it was at a horror film marathon and it was the first one! People on the front row were throwing up or dropping like ducks in a carnival shooting alley!

Check out the sequel if you can find it - much underrated and worth a look.
