Whoops! Didnt mean that!

Tha classic: 20001 A space Odyssey. Slow moving graceful and sometimes creepy sci-fi goes bonkers and showers you with flashy lights for half an hour before the main character becomes a baby/star thing. Yeeaaaahhhh.....

Alien Ressurection. I bought it up till that dude shot the other dude by bouncing bullets off the ceiling. Sitting in the cinema I uttered "Did I just f*cking see that!?".

I love horses, they're my friends!

We'll finally see the Gandalf/Witch King stand off. This was sorley missed from the theatrical release after two scenes hint at a big ruckus between the two - something else I rather resent, setting something up dramatically and then not showing the pay-off.  "I will break the white wizard!" When? After you let a big girly-girl chop you!

Ahh, I see. They did a similar thing with the Two Towers. In one scene Aragorn and Co. are hunting some big bastard Uruk-Hai Orcs and in the next scence the orcs are hanging out with some mordor gobliny guys. In the extended edition we see the goblin types intercept the uruk-hai.

This is a bit annoying in itself. Why should I have to buy another sodding edition to simply iron out seeming continuity errors? Adding more choppy-choppy = good. Clarifying stuff like this = bad.

Return of the king...

Aragorn leads the remaining forces to the black gate to pick a fight and provide a distraction so that Frodo might have a chance. Only what was even more distracting was that he managed to pull some David Copperfield-esque trick in making all their horses dissapear. Like, between shots. One minute he's all "Today we fight!" riding up and down, the next "For Frodo!" and theyre all on foot. Maybe they ate them or summat.

These colossal continuity mistakes are a bit annoying.

Ive done away with the Book gubbins:

Ep1 - Deadlock returns from remote viewing and reveals the plans for the shadow warriors!

Ep2 - They are to be briefed at New Sidona! Lets go there and surprise them with bombs and guns!

Ep3 - The warriors spy on assembled shadows and we get a bit of exposition on all of them.

Ep4 - The Warriors go in guns blazing but its a trap!

Ep5 - Turns out deadlock had been detected when remote viewing and fell for the plan! Now they are surrounded by clone troppers and shadow warriors!

Ep6 - Warriors kick arse.

The End.

See! Nice and simple.

Ive never read The Dark Knight Returns. There, I said it. My chum gave me a copy of the graphic novel once and I just found it hard going and unrewarding.

Am I the only one who thought this?

I stayed at school for a sixth year because I wasnt convinced my uni application would be successful after fifth year. It was. I spent sixth year bumming about, dropping out of courses, doing photography modules and generally feeling like I had wasted a year.

Ive since wasted a whole lot more so I cant be bitter...

I know that feeling.

"This is a specialist shop. For special people. You can get your stupid comic from WHSmiths you philistine!"

Well double-dumb-ass* on me for trying to buy comics in a frickin' comic shop.
