Ever had a conversation like this:

"Hey, you really like comics and devour about ?60 worth of monthlies, why dont you try 2000ad?"

"'Cos it's shit!"

"Its not you know, its really good!"

"I hate Judge Dredd. Its stupid!"

"Have you ever actually read 2000ad or Judge Dredd?"

"No."

??

I feel like I go throug this with every comic fan that I meet. How depresing. Stick with your bloody transformers then you doofi (plural of doofus?).

My tastes have swung wildly once again...

"Still life" and "Deliverance" by (the mighty) Opeth

"Seventh son of a seventh son" by Maiden

"Heaven up here" by Echo and the Bunnymen

The last Bad Company appearance (i refuse to call it a series) felt more like "Rescue Danny in preparation for the next big story", as opposed to a proper run.

Series three of Six Feet Under sucked balls but series four, on tv now, is a return to form. If anyone cares that is. So far it might be the best after the first series...

>>But Girls Aloud? To say "how can you not like Girls Aloud?" is like saying "how can you not like cheese strings?"

Or: How can you not like using the middle urinal when the others are taken?

Sing popular songs in death metal grunts.

Play air guitar. Well.

Take sweeties from my office-mates drawer.

In last weeks review post (1403?) I was quite harsh on the ABC warriors. Last night, however, I read the whole of book2 in a wan-ey and I really liked it. Strange. Example - there was me thinking that this neuropeptide  stuff had been pulled out of the ether in 1404 only to see a billboard advertising it as "the right stuff" in an earlier prog. The human characters were nowhere near as jarring as they seemed when reading weekly.

There are still small things that annoyed, like Steelhorns intervention when Joe is about to shoot the Trisaur - why didnt steelhorn do anything the first time the Boons charged? Deadlock lopped one of the Trisaurs heads off! Overall, though, Im getting right into this. Cant wait for the doube episode this week.

I guess I had my own ideas of where book 2 of the Shadow warriors might go and this certainly isnt it! Exactly how many of these Shadow Warrior Books are there going to be?

Oooooh, I need this thread. I apologise in advance if I offend  along the way....

Grown up people who still like WWE wrestling. "I know its made up! I enjoy the display of althetesism." Boll*x, youre a moron! You LIKE the sorylines!

Little Britain. Is it funny to reiterate the same handfull of sketches in each episode? If so I might give comedy writing a pop. Write me some shit jokes about gay folks and the mentally handicapped. Ho-sodding-ho.

Ahh. The call of responsibility! But Ill return...
