I'm sure Tharg said on the letter page once it was young adult and up these days which is fine by me. Like a lot of people on here I feel like the prog has grown up with me although I started collecting in 96 (when I was 11/12) so that might be different for some other people.

One piece of trivia I've always wondered about, when did the progs start "growing up" what was the first use of swearing in the prog (not including Drokk or other sci-fi swear words), nudity (both male and female) and anything else people would consider "not for kids"?

I say it a lot, but its absurd that we haven't had a proper Lobster Random soft cover trade. Also needs another series.

Its too great to be relegated to Meg Floppy status.

Though I would take a complete digital edition. hint hint wink wink

Glad I'm not the only one. I'll admint I'd kind of forgotten about Lobster Random until I picked up the first series in hard back from Forbidden Plant in Manchester for £2.50 (That alone probably explains why we haven't seen the other series collected).
Really enjoyed re-reading it and plan to dig out the bag progs to read the rest of the series.

This thread is starting to get way to confussing with whos only seen the show, whos only read the book and whos done both (like myself).
It's getting harder to speculat about what I think is going to happen in the show without giving away stuff I KNOW is going to happen in the show without spoiling it for people.

Like for instance the bit where
Only teasing, curious to know who clicked on here though lol
I need on of the uniforms so bad! Saddly they are a little (read: a lot) out of my price range. Like I've said elsewhere I'm thinking of a Judge's uniform being my first (and last) attempt at cosplay.
Still putting some ideas together though.

Quote from: radiator on 04 June, 2013, 07:27:27 PMI also think all the idiots currently spewing venom all over twitter about how thy're 'done' with the show will be glued to the next episode, same as everyone else.

Why would anyone be "done with" the show after this week? It was a great twist that no one I know (reading the book or watching the show) saw coming. Just cause
some characters died
is no reason to stop watching.

Since my last idea was poo-pooed ( ) how about a Lobster Random collection? I think it was only ever the first series that was collected, it would have to include the series it
crossed over with
but I can't remeber the name of the top of my head.

God it was hard to watch wasn't it? Even worse cause I've read the books and knew it was coming.

The whole scene was done perfectly, I was watching through my fingers from when the door was closed and the band changed it's tune lol. Can't wait for next weeks finale, wonder what they are going to have for the cliffhanger...

On another note, they definetly have a thing for the 9th episode on this show don't they?:
Season 1:
Ned's death
Season 2: Blackwater
Season 3:
The Red Wedding
Cheers Indigo. I knew about it being strictly Dredd only reprints (isn't there a story that starts at part 2 in one of the Case Files because the first part isn't a 'Dredd' story? I think it's called Infirno or something similar).

Also (very quick sums here so forgive me if I'm way off) if there are 3 case files a year, each with 50ish progs (is that right?) we'd be at prog 1500 (which is about the progs I'd be looking to get wide of) by Case Files 32. Which, at a rate of 3 a year, will be release in 2016.

Again, maths isn't my strong point so forgive me if I'm way out there.

I'm starting to have a clear out and some of my older progs are having to go (look out for a thread in 'Classifieds' soon lol) but before I do I'm making a list of the thrills I want to keep (or can get in graphic novel form).

I was wondering if there is any idea on when the Dredd Case Files will get caught up with the prog, or near enough at least. I know Case file 20 includes prog 900 with Rogue so I'm guessing that Case Files 21 will be the latter half of the 900's which will probably include The Pit.

But how often are the Case Files released? I've only just started collecting and I'm still getting caught up so I'm not sure what the wait between volumes is. Also, out of curiousity, what volumes do the Meg stories start getting reprinted in the Case Files?

Just seen the line-up for this and really tempted to go now. Especially for Garth Ennis, Steve Dillon and R. M. Guéra.
Does anyone know how the signing work at NICE? Is it like Kapow where it's all scheduled or Though Bubble where everyone just has there own table?

Is it just Starkings? Any idea of the times?

Cheers CF, everything is kind of up in the air with this at the minute. I still need to figure out if I can feasibly do this yet.
If I do I'll try and keep the boards posted and who knows we might end up on patrol together some day

Think I've been to that site before. I'll have to have a proper browse through it, a lot of good ideas on there.

I'm sure I'm like a lot of people post on these boards who'd love one of the Planet Replica Judges uniforms (or similar), the only thing hold us back is that £2000odd price tag. I know if I could afford it I'd have mine ordered the next chance I got.

Knowing I'm probably never going to get around to being able to save the £2000 due to life getting in the way (and going to cons, collecting comics, etc), the best I could probably hope for is a helmet (which I'd still love to have). It got me thinking if anyone on the boards has ever made their own Judges uniform? Movie or comic version, and if anyone knows of any good guides online (preferable step-by-step) to help the less talented amongst us have a shot at making one ourselves.

I thought it could be a fun little project and it would be great to see a couple of homemade Judges uniforms on patrol around the cons. (Could they all be classed at Jimps by the Planet Replica Judge's?)
