Actually add Grave of The Fireflies and For A Few Dollars More too, so 158. Can't these foreign Johnnies speak the Queens English?!

I've seen 156 of them, with about half a dozen more on my films to watch pile. A lot of recent ones I haven't seen there.

Glad to see The Apartment in the top 100, it's one of my favourites and a solid gold classic.

I think all kinds of art are valid and capable of saying something or moving people. I just think Mark Wallinger is shit that's all.

The reason many people think all modern art is worthless is because of charlatans like him.

Did he win with the bear suit thing? I thought it was for his brilliant recreation of the anti war protest. (millionaire artist hires dozens of students to make art which is an exact copy of something someone else made. For the ART)

I like modern art but even by Turner standards this geezer is a fucking joke.

Dredd: A tragic end to the tale of Nate Slaughterhouse. When he realised the truth about Kitty he just gave up. Very sad, and all told a black day for Justice Department. But the last page, bloody hell. Wittle is pissed off! Dredd has been breaking his balls since the beginning, and he doesn't like it. Is this the start of a whispering campaign against Dredd from the Street Judges, who have traditionally been his biggest supporters? With one panel John Wagner turns Mandroid into part of the Fargo revelations/ mutant rights storyline.
The best comic strip in the world.

Time Twister: Made me laugh out loud, hugely entertaining story. More time twisters Tharg!
From the same creators if possible!

Bob Byrne: Back on form for Bob, I loved this one. He manages to be funny and horrifying at the same time.

Red Seas: Great ending for this mini series, which is one of my favourites and I hope it's back soon.

Button Man: A satisfying end to a slightly patchy series, but it grew on me a lot towards the end.

Overall a fantastic prog to cap a great years for tooth. Off to re-read Dredd for the fifth time now!

Just got my prog, a bit soggy but intact. (it's been pissing down for about 3 days now here!)

The cover made me chuckle. "The hardest button to button". Is Tharg a White Stripes fan?!

Don't pretend for 20 years that you have a great story as a prequel to your successful sci-fi trilogy, and then when you come to make it just write any old shite down on the back of a fucking fag packet.

Good call! I love Colonel Tigh, he's probably my favourite character in BSG. He's a brilliant actor Michael Hogan.

Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing 2000AD couldn't survive without Dredd. It barely survived without John Wagner writing Dredd.

Theres no need for any of this talk for at least ten years I'd say. Dredd is physically capable of continuing that long with the medical technology aavailable to him, probably for much longer.

"If you're an atheist, you will get to know God experientially, from being fucked in the ass"

That guy is a desreving winner, but number 5 the serial killer was good too.

I thought it might have been one of them fuel-air bombs like they're going to use in the film Outbreak.
