I just downloaded this off Xbox Live Arcade and I love it! It's a side scrolling beat em up at heart, equal parts sweet and violent! Haven't tried the multiplayer yet but I hear it's a lot of fun. Anyone else been playing it?

General / Re: Ron Smith - opinions please

Hiya Vicks!

The Ronster has plenty of fans round these parts, but he kind of fell out of favour in the 90s when 2000ad was a bit rubbish, and was given crappy strips to draw for the last few years of his career. The bio of him in the Dredd Casefiles is shamefully brief considering he drew the best Dredd story of all time, (Unamerican Graffiti!) but there was an 18 page article about him in last months Book and Magazine Collector, which you should be able to find quite easily.

He is Adama's father, the lawyer that Romo Lampkin used to work for when he was young (and said to be a bit of a barstard as i recall!)
It's a great idea for a prequel, the creation of the Cylons as opposed to the more obvious choice of the first war. I hope it's a success for them.

Prog / Re: Prog 1600 - We're Watching You

Top prog for me this week! Great iconic cover, welcome return for one of my favourites The Red Seas, fun new thrill in Stalag 666 and a continuation of the mesmerising Mutant storyline in Dredd from John Wagner. But the hero of the prog for me is Kev Walker, that's some of the best work I've seen from him just about ever I think. The last panel of page 3, with the terrified mutants on the bus, was worth the cover price alone and says it all. Brilliant. Cheers Greenbonce.

I once saw this mental film late at night, about a family who are menaced by things in their house. Walls appear outside their windows, this gooey stuff comes down the chimney, they get jostled about, and at the end it turns out they're really little robots in a dollhouse, and their owner a little girl has been messing about with them. It could be an episode of hammer house of horror or something but I think it was a low budget British horror film type thing, from the 1970s ish. Any ideas?
