Trigger warning: this is war news, so avoid if you're finding it too much.

Paraic O'Brien's reports are always very affecting as he tends to focus on the plight of individuals: The Ukrainian refugees who end up in Russia – often not by choice

I'm pretty sure it's evenly balanced at the moment - so unless there's a change it'll be up to your deciding vote. No doubt you'll ape the sensible voters, otherwise things could get hairy.

Tricky one - I know Revere is well regarded but I've never been a fan - it was all too abstract and surreal. On the other hand Samantha Slade's Robo-Hunter was an interesting premise, but didn't have that chock-a-bot density that I enjoyed about early Robo-Gibson. Too many gradient fills. I can do gradient fills. Gie's a job!

It's an art vote, then. Revere.

... stolen legally...

I'm imagining real lawyers face-palming at our antics.

Also not a lawyer, but I'd guess that cars are complicated - in that there are registration issues that would perhaps serve as part of that "didn't know it was stolen" caveat.

Briefly, it would seem that if the current owner were considered legally bona fide, then recompense would need to be sought from the previous seller. You might then find yourself tracking back through several bona fides in order to get to someone who knew they were stealing it - and then you could launch a case against them. None of which would return the property, and it all sounds tricky and expensive.

Relying on comic art buyers being nice people? Oh dear. Minefield.

One of the issues I'm struggling with, in terms of accepting The Citadel as being set during The Apocalypse War, is that the design aesthetic doesn't match up. The Sovs are using a bunch of equipment we never saw during the original depiction, so it seems like a visual reboot.

Dreadnoughts.

It's absolutely superb.

Ditto for me, please.

House of Hell up next. I know this is a well-regarded book, but I when I played it as a kid I really didn't like it: the art, the theme, and the difficulty level all put me right off. I feel a little trepidation about revisiting it.

It's not just me, then.

Survival Geeks is the winner, but I like the entire list for one reason or another.

I've never watched The Rockateer, but the poster's design aesthetic turns me off. I just don't like Googie. See also: The Jetsons.

Of course - this is a shallow bias, and says nothing of the quality of the movie.

Chimpsky as a supporting act is good - not so much the full series. I mean - it was fine and all - just not really rocking my world.

Breathing Space, on the other hand, was a taught thriller that managed to live in Dredd's world without needing to hang it's hat on existing lore, and without needing to add capes. It's one of those quieter gems.
