My interest in the book was sparked by the bbc 4 sci-fi history program thingie, so I read it yesterday.  

Tis rather deeper and a bit more political than the films, very very good stuff it is.

oh yes, now i realise that all sc-fi films are great big lies ( don't tell the proles the truth ! ) and read the books instead !

Motorists who get stopped by the police could have their fingerprints taken at the roadside, under a new plan to help officers check people's identities.
A hand-held device being tested by 10 forces in England and Wales is linked to a database of 6.5m prints.

Police say they will save time because people will no longer have to go to the station to prove their identity.

Officers promise prints will not be kept on file but concerns have been raised about civil liberties.

This was on sky lastnight, what a freaky adaptation of a comic, it kept going to er,er, a filmed comic  and then back to action.

Is this the same strip that was published some time ago, but with er, such different art that the characters look totally different ?

As a lot of budding artists hang around this place i thought i would mention that the last of the 'private life of an easter masterpiece' programs is on bbc 2 easter monday and that if you like that then try catch the last of brian sewells grand tour on channel five tuesday as its in venice :)

For those really into art, carry on and grab the 2nd episode of 'northern renaissance' on bbc 4 thursday, the first episode was much better than i expected, though he did rabbit on a bit too much.

This is the old russian version that i have heard is better than the modern one.

The web is playing up at work, we cant access the popular sites but 2000adonline appears immune, ahhh, must be a server that goes out, into spaaaaceeeee to thargs own isp ?

I saw this recently, its great, truly superb, amazing and fab.  Has anyone else seen it, what do you think ?
