a newsagent told me, last year, 2000ad has stopped, they just do the megazine now

the only solution i can see is tharg giving a bunch of unsold copies to schools to kick off more readers eh

TRUE but its not a continuation, it's a new "DR WHO" that has a lot in common with the old one.

The Doctor can not use the TARDIS to cheat events, as this would mean he could end up in silly situations saying 'in the future i will go back and leave something i need in this drawer here' voila it is here ! aka bill & ted style

This was explained years ago, i think, when an assistant died and he said he could not use the tardis to go back and change time.
