What would be my ideal would be a long story each year, preferably in the summer, like the 'Tax Dodge' with Carlos art.

As well as that there could be occasional short tales, 4 parts or so, with art from Henry Flint, Goddard and Teague and other artists like that. Carlos stays the main artist but we get more tales and get to see some other artists takes on the character. I bet there'd be a queue to draw it too.

Curses! Exposed again! And I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you pesky, meddling, Web-masters.

The Dredd one has been a cover on the weekly, I remember a picture of Toby Longworth recording the first Dredd play and holding that cover up like a mask.

The Anderson was a cover for the weekly, for the last Anderson tale they did, with the strap line Trouty mentioned.

Death is also an image that's been used, possibly for the Irving/Bolland poster.

They may have been previews once, but now that they've been seen they're just, well, views.

Well, it makes it distinctive. Merry Chrimble Gem and Boo.

You know, with your connections you should have a nice unique icon by now Gem...

Cheers,

Slaine had a whole prog too, as did Dredd. Devlin Waugh filled 4 places of the prog once too. I quite like things like that. Perhaps at the end of an assault instead of filler shocks there could be an 20 page thrill for a regular character?

Or between seasons a popular thrill could get a chance to shine?

Well, that's how it feels to me, reading Krystalnacht in the mega prog.

Look forwards to reading the next chapter in the ongoing tale of Cabalistics Inc.

General / The Competition for people who can't draw.
16 December, 2003, 09:13:54 PM
I have no artistic ability whatsoever and there may be some people out there who are equally pencily challenged. So here's a competition for the rest of us.

As it's nearly Christmas the challenge is to compose a Christmas ditty to a 2k character, droid, or one of the board members. Set it to the tune of a well known hymn or carol or Christmas pop song and put the lyrics on the thread.

For Example...

I'm dreaming of A.Wyatt Christmas,
With every weapon that I sight,
Where the gun metal glistens,
And the ammunition,
Is always ready for the fight...

That's crap, you can all do better.

Absolutley fine then. That gives us plenty of time. What sort of price are we looking at for a mug of each? E-mail me the answer if you prefer.
