But that panel 5 on page 1 still doesn't look like anything to me. Limbless torso on a kebab skewer? Fair enough. There weren't enough clues about shape, vantage point, scale or perpective for me to come to that conclusion without help. It doesn't help that I can't even remember there being a character called Donna in it.

Interesting, because the moment I looked at it I knew exactly what iy was. You're not the only one who didn't recognise it but the clarity of it makes that very surprising to me. It's not like I can dismiss your comments as horse apples because you're not one of the boards idiots...

But surely there are better ways to express dissapointment than all this 'what you need to do is' business?

Anyway, yes, Eurocrash is a disappointing book, and I will not order Money Shots when it is solicited under the present plan.  Flatly, they need to...
Then the next book, then they can do Money Shots, Shrink Rap, Fully Laundromatic, all those one-offs, etc.

I'm not Tharg, and neither is my wife, but I reckon the easiest way for someone to make themselves look like a nutter is to post on a website giving instructions of how graphic novels NEED to be compiled...

(Nah. It rhymes with 'stone'. (Since they're posh lads I imagine they're pronouncing it as rhyming with 'gone' though.

The Red Seas: I imagine this'll miff some folks since we're not back to the main characters yet. Not me. I'm rather enjoying it. Quirky and fun.

The posh asre more likely to rhyme it with Stone, not gone.

Why would you imagine it'll miff people? I doubt people are expecting the crew to appear at all in this series. It's well established that Red Seas will side-step the pirates for world fleshing fun. This is going to be Newtons story.

Not offended, just amused at the seemingly odd comment.

A pair of pompous douches that seem to ALWAYS work the counter.

Yeah, those fuckers! They should have a constantly revolving roster of staff so the customers don't get fed up with the same people. What kind of cunts force you to see the same two people all the time. Unacceptable.

Actually, was that "So what if she's your sister" thing some kind of vile incest reference or something?

No, it was much more likely a reference to the Lancashire folk group The Houghton Weavers dialect infused cover of the Hollies most famous hit, renamed "She aint heavy, so what if she's your sister".

Well, there's the (4-part??) Mork Whisperer story and the next Battlefields: The Tankies three-parter on Ezquerra's plate already this year.

And a multi-part serial for The Boys.

The Stickleback reference was, itself, a Red Seas reference...

I reckon the fact that it's contrasted with the search for the missing Donna, and the pale skin, implies it's her and not the shop owner.

I mean, come on, the name alone...

Banners "Only thing I can't work out is P1, panel 5 - not quite sure what that is depicting?"

That's a Donna Kebab.
