General / Re: why have you stuck with 2000ad...

I'm another longtime reader, I'm not intensely passionate about the organ or have a great indepth knowledge of all things tooth like some of you good folk.
I started at Prog 1 and had a year or so lapse sometime after the Apocalypse War ended I think my loyalty has always been with Dredd's tales I feel I've grown up with his world and the man, I do follow other thrills along the way, but I do skip many too, I also enjoy references to older tales and characters which crepp in now and again.

This thread has made me question if I'd still buy 2000ad if Dredd's world and tales were phased out, I know this is highly unlikely, but it's something I've become used to each week and I'm not sure I buy a comic for the tales alone.

Good thread DD

Help! / Re: simple web site
13 February, 2004, 12:09:40 AM
I can't really help even though I'm in the process of putting my own site up there too, I'm getting a pal to do mine and understand he's using Dreamweaver.

I'm going on a work funded Front Page training session, how I understand it is that the course will be over before my coffee gets cold in the cup!

Thanks Bou and that's a mighty fearsome creature you've created there, it's certainly a way forward for the Hargreaves empire! ;-)

Mine is Mr Sneeze, no doubt because I suffer from Rihinitus and can't relate to his problems, I do though have two arms and hands to blow and wipe my hooter.

Others?

Off Topic / Re: who was your favourite muppet?...
09 February, 2004, 05:24:18 AM
Ah Sesame Street, I wonder if Mr Hooper (was that the shop owners name?) would be allowed to hang around with all those kids without suspicion these days!

Fave muppet? hmm can't be sure, that drummer Animal? was funny, I guess my ignorance regarding Muppetism disqualifies me from entering a valid vote in this survey of all things puppetary.

Thanks, I've really enjoyed this thread, I love that long article Carnivore and of course that photo rac ;-)

I'd certainly like to see the longer cut of the Dredd movie, and shouldn't we soon be hearing something new about the Rebellion projects?

Whatever happened to Leon Trotsky?
He got an ice pick
That made his ears burn
Whatever happened to dear old Lenny?
The great Elmyra and SANCHO PANZA?
Whatever happened to the heroes? (x2)

Whatever happened to all the heroes?
All the Shakespearoes?
They watched their Rome burn
Whatever happened to the heroes? (x2)

No more heroes anymore (x2)
