Do you mean the small format DC Thompson publication from yesteryear? I found the first  15 issues here a while back during a clearout starting at Number 1, I'd forgotten I had them.

I think the tail end of the original run of the "Cursed Earth" saga for me, I still remember that Friday night vividly, my Sister had a party at home with her "teenage" pals, love bites etc and I re-reading the episode in which Dredd, Judge Jack and Tweak ended up trapped in castle remains... knowing I'd see the next episode the following morning, great memories.

So I guess my fave era is based on nostalgia, but the organ has swollen since, Young Rico etc...there's always room for surprise!

I still collect tooth each week and the mighty meg, and just recently I've been picking up some comics I had in the 70's War of the Worlds (Killraven), Astonishing Tales (Deathlok) and Luke Cage (Power Man) Issue 1, mostly for the nostalgia, but I do like to flick through them now and again.

btw, does anyone know what issues of Daredevil in the 70's featured the villan (I think he was called) "Copperhead", I'd like to own those again?

Cheers

You're welcome and WOW Xmal Deutschland, haven't heard of them for years lol, saw them live supporting The Stranglers one time!

I'll give your other tracks a spin tomorrow BT, I'm DJing in half an hour (70's Disco!!!!)
But I always enjoy hearing things like this, great sound there with an 8 track!

you might consider checking out "Generation X" on my site another thrashy track.
(I must update my site one of these years)

I downloaded EYE and me thinks it's rather cool, this energy and sound kinda reminded me of The Damned!

Great stuff :-)

I can't play a note and all my tracks are done on my PC, but here's one of playful experiments... "THRASH"

Get more rest and sleep.

Get my website up and running.

Save money for a trip to Martha's Vineyard in 2005.

Stop biting my nails.

I never normally make resolutions, these are things I try to do all year round.

Get out of my crappy job and try and find something more suited to my skills (or go to Uni).

Buy more rare JAWS things off ebay.

Save and go to America in June.

er, that's about it I reckon.

I've had too choose from three options, Parr St (Recording Studio/bar here in Liverpool, The Sefton,(a local pub here) or stay in with Mum, and I've decided to stay in with Mum, well we lost Dad just over a year ago and I think she needs the company, and besides it's bitterly cold here and I don't fancy battling for taxis in the wee small hours.

"the story about a randy franky howerd trying to get Bob to "rub his tummy" always makes me laugh."

Yes, this indeed an unsettling classic!

Gordon, if you're not concerned, perhaps you may consider not passing comment, the man has died, he was a comedy legend who has earned his fortune through years of hard work, I'm sorry if I have misread your post or feelings, but I consider this thread is one of respect.

Bless you Bob, laughter is the best tonic!

Yeah I heard about this earlier, very sad news indeed, the man is a comedy legend, his autobiography "Crying with Laughter" is highly recommended.

Watched both tonight and found the second and final episode the most rewarding, I'm not sure if I'll buy it on DVD, but I consider it essential viewing for Office fans.

Tim and Dawn.... Yayyyy!

and poor Finchy ;-)

My personal fave...

"Who was the Cuban leader?"... "Fray Bentos"

hits the spot every time.

I made myself a number of "Brent/Office" samples for use in between tracks when DJing, I simply couldn't resist making an mp3 of "Free Love", I cleaned it up and edited it and it sounds ok.

"She's the serpent who guards the gates of hellll"

I heard that the original Office pilot episode is an easter egg on the season 2 disc, no idea if it's true.

The extras on the series 2 disc are marvellous fun.
