You could give The Surrogates a try (a much better story than the Bruce Willis film)

If you not adverse to manga then definitely try Akira -very Blade Runner-esque.

And although it's not sci-fi- some of DC's Batman can be quite good for brooding cityscapes.

For a more gothic take on it all then you could do a lot worse than twoth's own Pat Mills and French artist Ledroit's: Requiem Vampire Knight.  Some stunning visuals and although not really many cityscapes in it, if you like the Games Workshop style of gothic you'll get a kick out of it (plus the story isn't too shabby either)

Q)What do you get if you cross a dyslexic, an insomniac and an agnostic?

A)Someone who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a dog.

Funnily enough it was that same prog that I got "back on board" with after my wilderness years...

Eric Powell.

I also reckon David Lapham would make a good job of some of MC1's citizens.
(Thinking more along the line of his Stray Bullets style as opposed to Young Liars...)

Smashing!  Thanks.  Had a horrible idea it may involve trying to get back on that broken staircase again.  Managed it once, but it was a real pain in the arse...

It's windy and loads of leaves have fallen over my back garden.

...hang on that's more of a raking statement than a sweeping statement isn't it..? Dammit!

I've found the two survivors that want me to get them the broad sword but I'm buggered if I can find a way into the gun shop.  Anyone care to share how it's done?  I'm assuming there is an way in on the roof somewhere...

Why do undertakers wear ties?
Because undertaking is a very serious job, and formal dress reflects the gravity of the work involved.
Not a fan of the hairy non-chin.  But what really puts me off is the fact you can see Dredd's eye through his helmet lens...

Don't they also sell personalised ones for peoples birthdays or just that special occasion? Guaranteed to raise a smile on a loved ones face?
