Wonder what the prerequisite is for the Wally Squad?  :o

Being weird. I think Aimee, Frank etc were all street judges who didn't fit in.

I used to review the Prog & Megazine for 2000AD Review.

Now I've had a break, I'd be quite interested in getting back into it.

Dredd: idea = good; execution = excellent

Williams has taken Low Life to a new level with the current run. The best thing in the Prog again.

Defoe: lots going on. Not sure I'm still following it.

Wolfie: just didn't at all for me at all. With an annoying abracadabra ending.

Biggest disappointment was Dante. The Master of Kranstadt might have been an amusing distraction a couple of years ago but recently we've had big plot developments. This seemed like dithering. And mediocre dithering, too.

I'm not really a Ross fan but I have to say; that's a really cool picture.

this one?

I like that. And the storyline sounds interesting. To be honest, I've "enjoyed" several of the cheapie Hellraiser sequels, and I don't think it'll be lacking much from Doug Bradley's non-appearance. But that IS from 'Revelations' (the ninth sequel it says there. Is it? I've lost count) not the 'remake'. I'm expecting a "known" face for the remake- a sort of mid-level celebrity. Possibly of a William H Macey/ Tony Todd ilk. Other than that, I'm expecting the only difference to be in the publicity budget.

SBT

The article says :
QuoteTunnicliffe says he originally pitched the story as a potential remake following a dream he had, but Dimension went the sequel route again after toying with the idea of a reboot last year.

So the remake has been abandoned?

I inadvertently made a friend feel crappy last night I think. Used to work with him and saw him for the first time in a while, and obviously chat got to the old workplace, which had recently been calling old employees offering new jobs. I'd assumed he would have received one of the calls, but he knew nothing about it and had been holding off finding work in the hope they called him back in. Foot in mouth right there.

Sounds to me like you did him a favour in the long run. Time to move on.

The mad scientist should have been sent to Titan.

Just what I was thinking. Pretty poor Dredd in the end.

Dante seems to be back where he was two years ago, Defoe is Defoe, Wolfie... I know I read it but can't remember what happened.

Low Life is still the class act.

D'oh! I wish I'd seen this now.

Not like me to dismiss something without watching it... Oh, wait... that's EXACTLY like me.

Anyway everything in Age of the Wolf proceeds entirely logically if you proceed from the assumption that it has a basis in Norse mythology.

That's interesting. So, presumably you know how it will end?

Prog / Re: Prog 1706 - sibling rivalry

Prog breaks even this week.

Low Life's the only strip giving me the "wow" factor at the moment and Defoe almost always gives fans (me) what they want.

Dante is entertaining but haven't we been here before?

I get that that "no... that's not right" feeling about Dredd.

Wolfie - I've become indifferent to this one. Once magic is introduced you can pretty much make up the rules as you go along.

I was pleased to see Waydowntown on the list. I sometimes think I must have seen it in a dream.
