So come on lets see yours.

Events / Dr Who Exhibition. Coventry
30 November, 2009, 10:39:00 PM
Took the family to the Exhibition at the Coventry transport museum on Sunday and it wasn't bad at all.

Not really a fan of the new Dr Who but quite enjoyed it.

It was a spur of the moment thing as I only found out about it on Saturday and as my daughter is absolutely mad on it I didn't think twice.

If any of you are in the area it is on until the 10th of Jan next year

General / Wulf or Vulf
16 November, 2009, 01:43:58 PM

How would you spell Wulf.
"Hi I am Johnny whats yours"
"My name is Wulf"

In my opinion that would make it Vulf given his Scandinavian accent.

Games / Old 2K games.
10 November, 2009, 08:15:36 PM
Just doing my usual amble through the web and came across this image and a flood of memories came back. Although the games at the time were pretty shit, especially the Saine one, I still got enjoyment out of them.
The Rogue Trooper game was probably the best.

We definitely need more tooth based games to come through.

Film & TV / Sanctuary ???
09 November, 2009, 07:40:27 PM
Caught the end of this yesterday on ITV 4 and didn't know what the fuck to make of it. It stars SG-1's Amanda Tapping. The episode had a bit of a Venom suity thing going.

Anyone got any view's on this? and is it worth viewing?

Film & TV / Wounded. BBC1
23 September, 2009, 11:17:05 PM
Just watched this and have to admit on more that one occasion I shed a tear or two.
Pretty powerful stuff and a must watch if you have i-player.
Not enough is shown or reported on the wounded of our armed forces. For every one that is killed many more are maimed.

General / Ron Smith trade contents.
16 September, 2009, 08:18:08 PM
If a Ron Smith collection trade was put together what would be your choices for content.

A first would have to be The Graveyard Shift and maybe Dredd/Angel to follow.

Come on Tharg get your finger out.

Books & Comics / Battle picture Weekly
31 August, 2009, 08:47:28 PM
On the off chance I sauntered into WH Smiths with my son to get him his weekly comic, I got him the Clone Wars as I am starting to get sick of Spongebob, and looking down I spotted BATTLE picture weekly souvenir special. I didn't think twice on picking this up. I know I am going to enjoy this trip down memory lane.

Quit surprised no one has picked up on this. Also does anyone know if there is any more planned in the future, ie Hotspur etc. If not which other oldies do you lot think they should bring back as a special.

Saw this advertised on the side of a bus today. Didn't even know they were making this and just done a search on the board. How did this one pass unnoticed.

Film & TV / Dragon wars. D-Wars
16 August, 2009, 08:29:23 PM
Brought this for the missus the other day on blue ray.
Not what I was expecting. Some of the CGI was a bit lame and the acting was very hammy. No where near enough action for my liking, but she liked it so not a total loss.
Just a warning to anyone who wants to get this that are expecting all out war, But I am sure to be barracked as I bet there are a few of you who like this one..

General / Colouring for kids
06 August, 2009, 09:39:35 PM
This is a plea for all talented bod's out there.

Is there any chance that any of you could do some profiles of 2000ad characters so I can print off for my son to colour in. I can download piccy's of Sportacus etc off the Cbeebies website but I would much prefer him to colour a Dredd or Rogue Trooper.

Not read it yet just wanted to bag the thread.

Quick observation, some of the art in Armitage reminds me of Roy of the Rovers.
