I know there has been a lot of to do about Rufus so I am rather aprehensive about posting this but I have to be heard as it really got my gander up.
On this message board there is much art talent that is more than good enough to appear on the meg who haven't. Although the art of Guy Davis is OK the actual strip art featured in 296 is rather substandard IMHO. I am not an arty person but what process goes into choosing an artist for a script? because if I was editor I wouldn't have passed the art, but then again that probably is why I am not an editor.

, we don't criticise our bosses or customers directly.  We might slag off the boss behind his back, over a pint down the pub, but we don't do it to his face.  

Thats probably where I am going wrong. Often when I was in the army I would say something to an officer if I thought he was being unfair. It got me in the shit but sometimes it was worth it.
In my current job I sometimes make my supervisor aware what I think of him and also if a customer is being unreasonable I will tell him/her, but will keep it fair and not get offensive unless they start on me.

Admittedly there are a lot of overly critical people on this board. I for one try to keep my critical views low as I am not a writer, artist e.t.c. and would love to be in their shoes.
All being said Rufus shouldn't paint all of us with the same brush.

I hate it when you are waiting at a junction to turn left in busy traffic and some bastard blocks it up with no where to go, a little courtesy goes a long way and when the traffic does start moving again the cunt behind him carries on without giving a second thought.

I meant turn right. But either way grieves me the same.
