I'd put Letter from a Democrat down as the single most important episode of Dredd in the strip's history, TBH. All the developments in the series that have brought it to where it is today can pretty much be tracked back to this one story: an absolutely seismic shift in the tone of the series,

Cheers!

Jim
Important yes. Still possibly doesn't make it a favourite.

P.J. Maybe's introduction could be classed in the important category but on its own not a great one off. But I suppose this can't be classed a one off with the way PJ's career has gone, all depends on your point of view.

For me to make a decision I would have to trawl through years of progs and many one off, good and bad, do tend to get lost in the vast chasm of the brain.

QuoteJudge Griffin - Allowed himself to be captured by the Sovs during the Sov War

Totally disagree. Not Griffins desicion to be sent into space as he was severely injured and in no fit state to lead, and couldn't really foresee the power and dominance of the Sovs which led to his capture and brainwashing, also he was strong enough to fight off the hypnosis in his final moments. Incompetent. NO

My biggest bug bare(bear)?? is the double negative. You get some youth on TV saying I didn't do nothing wrong. In my eyes he has just admitted his guilt.

Thimerosal[a mercury derivative]is the ingredient in vaccines that caused Gulf War Syndrome.

But they never happened.

The last paddy's day I went out drinking on was about 6 years ago in Vegas and I had fun poking at all the plastic Irishmen, some Americans do have a sense of humour. If I wasn't married I would definitely got a shag. I was let loose that day when the missus went to see cirque du soleil and was very drunk when she met back up with me. Good times, good times.

The only drugs I have injected are the ones most people have as a child and the ones that didn't get given to us when we were in the Gulf back in 1990 and we all imagined it. But that is another debate to be had.

Hang on, what???

While serving in the army we were given a series of injections ranging from plague to anthrax vaccinations, apparently. The sort that made your arm numb within minutes, then when this Gulf War syndrome came about the government denied all knowledge, wherein we imagined it all.

The drugs most of us have as a child?  I presume you mean vaccinations rather than ecstacy.  Which was a great fifth birthday.

Yes that is correct.
