I can see there being alot more freaky shit going on in this one.

The problem from the start is that it will be hanging onto the coat tails of LOM. Still I did enjoy it.

If they want to stick to the book then they will have to change afew things like

SPOILER

At the end it is revieled that the robot is the master not the humanoid.

From what I have been told anyway. My mo in law is very knowledgeable, or so she likes to believe.

I was hoping this will be the events with the Norwegian camp, discovery and exploration of the alien ship before they blew the shit out of it.

I heard whispers of this quite a few months ago thinking this doesn't need one as the 82 version was sound and still holds out visually, then totally forgot about it.

Rummaging around on random Google searches happened across this one and the concept arts look astounding.

I suppose only time will tell on this one.

Film & TV / The butterfly effect ALT

Watched this again last night on C4 but this one had a different ending to the one I remembered. SPOILER

The one I first saw throughout the film his mother's misscarriage count kept going up after each major change of the time line, and the ending he strangled himself with his umbilical chord in him mothers womb.

The one last night had none of the misscarriages and the semi-happy ending, going back to the first time he met his love and the Eight years later chance walkby kind of spoilt the dark tone to the movie. Still ok though.

Was there a reason they changed the movie or is it just the fact that they had to decent idea endings?

Also How many more films out there have alternative endings that I may have missed?

Prog / Re: Prog 1571 - SHAK ATTACK!.........

And the greatness continues.

Cover absolutly ace, but we already knew that.

Dredd is boiling, a changing of the guard for PJ, Maybe....

Shakara just gets better and better. Mayhem and violence.. nuff said.

This is more like it for SD. Getting back to the roots.

Stickleback is still keeping me interested.

Kingdom steamrollering alone. I'm thinking that the meat is a byproduct of the fleas after feeding on the bugs. Shudda listened to the urgings Gene.

Johns work was not my cup of tea, but this is terrible news. I wish him all the best and hope he can get a decent dealer to ease his pain as it is (I think, correct me if I am wrong) still illegal for sufferers to use cannibis.

Biblical wisdom never changes. 100 years ago there would never have been a female vicar, homosexuality wouldn't be tolerated. Hmmmmmmm.
