I've said it before on this site and I will say it again, Splinter of a minds eye is shit and needs to lose the Star Wars link.

The harry potter books and films. Never read them and dont get on with the films but mrs Vzz says that the books far outdo the films.

Book without a doubt. two small reasons towards the argument

1) The Empire strikes back is far more darker than the film with rebel casualties phenomonally high. Budget and keeping the viewing age down tends to dilute adaptions.

2) In Return of the Jedi it is revealed that while in carbonite Solo was concious throughout. Hard to interpret this in a film.

Double post.

Just found out that the missus has chucked out my Bolland 4 dark judges Tshirt quite a while ago because it was manky.

I agree that it had seen better days but the front could have been salvaged at least.

I used to wake up and drink the dregs from my beer cans and eat the cold stale pizza next to the bed.

Oh to relive those days of being single.

I would bring back a sports almanac, Kill the geek that punched me in high school when I was trying to rape his date, marry said date and force her to have a bood job and kill that  fucking Marty Mcfly.

How about 'Invasion 1984' from Battle. I only have vivid memories of this one and a refresher would be nice.

I disagree on Charleys War reprints as I got the 4 GN's for my birthday. Sorry Tord.

Maybe pat could continue the ideas he had for follow ups to CW.

It's an awful fate, alright. I was bemoaning the amount of make-up that children wear these days to some of my (younger) colleagues today in café, only to be told: "But they're not children - they're students!". It's the Victor Meldrew Home for me, I think

My reality check was about 2 years ago when out clubbing I bumped into an old girlfriend, who at the time had a 5 year old daughter, and said daughter was with her as an 18 year old. Where is my zimmer frame.
