Lol the original novella certainly was a lot better than what we got in the film adaption (which seems more like a failed  attempt at making a blockbuster version of 28 Days Later than anything else) , what saddens me the most is that we will most likely have to wait a long time for a truer film adaption. Aw well I suppose I can always watch Daybreakers or the fangtastic Stake Land for my hit of vampiric post apocalyptic madness. (sorry got a slight problem with that film, just cause i looove the book so much).

But anyway watched Kill List the other day, pure brutal brilliance can't say much else for fear of spoilers, defo my fave film of 2011 just in front of Troll Hunter. Michael Smiley needs to be in more films

Hey Guys

For the first time in a while now I'm actually gearing up to put out a book of my own.
I'm going to be rebooting my Chaingun Chimp character , and giving the book more of an anthology feel. With two one and done stories per issue (just so I can leave a reasonable amount of time between issues and not leave anyone who reads it hanging) . I'm including a bit of political satire along with some general violence and craziness, definitely not taking it too seriously.

Soooo I've nearly finished up the pencilling for my first 10 page story and I more or less have a cover in the bag. The thing is I am looking for someone to contribute some sequential art to the book, as due to time restraints I'm not gona be able to draw the whole thing myself (very busy at the mo), so depending on what people are willing to contribute I have a ten page script or two five pagers that I'm looking some art for. I would be looking for some really aggressive or zany looking art that will not look out of place next to mine.

As usual with these things I cant really afford to pay anyone but I'm going to be paying all the printing costs myself and would certainly be up for paying in favours e.g. lettering someone's book or doing some illustration or design work etc.

If anyone's interested give me a shout sure, should be a laugh.

lol dont worry man, hellbound is a pretty good wee film though they start to get pretty awful after that one.
yea that epic comics series is the good shit, lotta good artists and writers working on that, plannig a new tattoo from one of the pin ups

not the post regularly posted pod cast, but in my opinion one of the best on the net.
comic geek speak is good too.
and if you're looking for something a little different and non comic related try the Hellraiser podcast its brilliant too.

Was given  the Death Note boxed set for my birthday last month, so far I've read halfway through.
Very very impressed with this, and can totally see what all the fuss is about.
Very intricately plotted, extremely complex but never boring series.
Lots of nice twists and turns and some cool character design.
Love it! 

Anybody got any humour strip scripts

Hi guys

Was thinking of submitting some stuff to these guys: pootcomic.com (was reading an issue in the airport yesterday)
But I'm more comfortable writing horror than humour.
But just thought I'd see if anyone here has any short humour scripts they want some cartooning done for?
   
They are a little like Viz but a bit more gross out humour.
