"Wasn't there single page Rocketeer strips on the back of 'tooth before the movie came out?"

No. That was a illustrated advert for a computer game called Rocket Ranger or something. A complete rip off of The Rocketeer.

Ratty: I am taking the piss. That was why I posted the comment about Holly Valance in the first place.

I should have guessed you were when you called Holly Valance an Actor.

Daredevil's Kingpin, anyone?

Proving my point. Everyone who saw it and knew the character said "But Kingpin is white." He was only cast in that role because: He was the biggest actor they could find and there wouldnt have been any other black actors in the film.

And Ben Kingsleys real name? Krishna Bhanji. So, not the best example there.

Never seen Passage to India so I couldnt comment.

"Just because someone isn't Chinese, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be allowed to play a Chinese character - it makes you a RACIST if you think that."

Can't agree with that at all. Imagine if Steven Speilberg had got an all white cast for the colour purple, everyone in there right mind would have objected. If a character is white, they should be played by a white actor. The same thing goes for black or asian characters. Its not racism just common sense.

I thought Rocketeer was a quality adaptation. Apart from a few changes (changing the name of Cliffs girlfriend) it does look and feel like the comic book.

Someone may have already said it, but the thing I dislike about him the most is his humour. This is the humour that got the likes of Bernard Manning banned from anywhere where there were right minded people. But because Carr is seen as one of our 'betters' he is allowed to peddle this shit.

I have heard that the air intake thingy on the interceptor was a battery operated replica.
