LOL!! "Other mini-plays multijoueurs will come to be added to the countryside" LOL!!

I love Babel Fish. Just done a Russian version of a web app we do and some of the translations they gave us were hilarious after putting through the fish.

See, the FISH is all powerful, if a little syntactically incorrect.

I is off for the weekend now, off to get pissed and see The Damned tonight. WOOHOO!

Have a good weekend all!

It was mentioned during an interview for the BBC or something like that. Didn't see it myself, but my mate's folks made a point of telling him about it, also being an avid football and tooth fan. So, a bit third hand really, but I'm assured it's true :o)

It's a lot more wholesome than the Celtic manager's off-the-pitch interests

That's somehow not very surprising. He'd make a good character in Cab Inc I reckon.

At least our man Paterson just likes getting pissed (but not any more of course), erm, and the odd flutter, allegedly.

Aah, a glorious 203rd for the Dons. :o)

Speaking of football, seeing as we're on the subject, apparently ex-Falkirk and current Dundee United manager, Ian McCall, is a 2000ad fan! Hee hee, bringing some much needed thrill power to Dundee :o)

As royally expected, I have suitably altered my name in honour of National Trout Week.

Mutant fish have rights too!

So if that happens is he going to be giving a big fat check to Michael Moorcock for ripping off Jerry Cornelius?

That should help pay for the Elric films :o)

Prog / Re: 1339

That's the one. For a moment I thought Slaine was starting again, then I saw the glasses, and the shotgun, and the jacket etc etc.

Very nice texture on the jacket too!

Badges were always good, plus the Mazeworld/Halo Jones prints were damn good more recently (relatively).

Speaking of adding value, I remember seeing a prog on ebay, still with it's original free gift of a piece of Hubba Bubba, or Bubblicious, can't remember which. Apparently the cover was slightly damaged by the 20 year old bubble gum :o)

That was a good gift!

Oh yes!

Although could he act seriously? I mean I'm sure he can, but after Evil Dead 2/3 :o)

Groovy!

I heard someone on telly using the ABC acronym for biological protection stuff. Maybe it was a 'mistake' from a reporter that reads 2000ad :o)

Other Reviews / Re: DEAD MEAT.

Ah, Meltdown Man, one of tooth's most under-rated tales. Probably because of Nick Stone's eye patch, which made me want an eye patch at the time.

Hmm, wonder if there's any chance of a graphic novel release of that??? Don't think there ever was in the past. Only thing is it'd be pretty huge BUT stacked full of Belardinelli's wonderful artwork.

I'd suggest a reprint but it'd take way too long, as in 4 episodes a month for a year! Plus that'd be just like reading old progs.

Nice one! Never managed to quite finish that I don't think. They had it in my local so I was usually too drunk to play it properly. Ace game though. Made it to the end of Double Dragon once though, me and a mate, on 20p each!

> they've whacked Dorian Gray and Tom-bloody-Sawyer into the mix

It's just dispicable isn't it. What's wrong with old Sean!!! Should still be ok though I reckon. There's many a film that's been good that looked bad from the trailers, blurb etc. Well, ok, not many, but I'm hopeful.

Did Moore write the script?

Nah, surely not. This isn't even funny anymore :o(

"Frankly my dear, I can't act"

Yes, I know that's not from Casablanca, but under the circumstances...
