"Moorcock is more acidhead hippy stuff"

He he, you're spot on there, I believe he lived along the road from Mr Hendrix so... :o)

Incidentally, if it's not too OT, tell you what, I'll start a new thread...

Hmm, Moorcock's stuff could fall into that category too really, being about Chaos/Order and "The Balance", rather than the Good/Evil thing. I know you're a Moorcock fan yourself Art, so would you agree with that?

It would also mean I wasn't straying from the topic too much :o)

He also has a strong interest in all philosophy, taoist probably being one of them to derive that kind of concept in his multi/universe.

"Didn't they JUST make a Live Action made for TV mini series on Earthsea?"

They did indeed, but it was pretty awful, apart from one funny bit with the dragon. Was on Sci-Fi last year I think.

A film may do it justice, you never know. I'd prefer to see Magician (R.E. Feist) made into a film myself, or of course Elric (M. Moorcock), which hasn't even reached development hell yet.

I'd say Japanese socks are coolest. A mate took some back as a present (yeah, I know, bit weird) but they were well ace. Separate big toes, which was strangely comfortable once you got past the weirdness of it.

Ah ha, I knew someone would fall for that one!

"Okay, I'll give you the Cortina, if you want to argue about it." - Splendid! I've had 2! Mk V's though, so nothing interesting.

Coolest Cortina - Mark 1 Lotus Cortina
Coolest Escort - Mark 1 RS2000 (the silver and blue one)

Coolest bird Bou, I'm afraid, would have to be the Golden Eagle, if that's not too cliched. Possibly even the Osprey though, for it's magnificent swooping fishing movement. Especially if it's in slow motion!

Coolest Lobster - Lobster Random :o)

Poodlehead
The Poodle Man (or The Elephant Poodle)
Blue Poodle
Poodle at Heart
Poodle (Dune)
Lost Poodle
The Straight Poodle (or The Poodle Story)
Mulholland Poodle

"This is a Poodle skin jacket, it symbolises my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom"
- Nicholas Cage(Poodle at Heart)

I'd like to say that I'm over the moon that so many people have the same opinion of Ang Lee.

"being an Ang Lee film, it just looks boring as hell" - I'm going to have endless fun exclaiming why I refuse to see Brokeback Mountain, get accused of being homophobic and then explain why.

"lifeless and devoid of passion" - Admittedly, I enjoyed it in the pictures (just cos it's the Hulk!). "Watched" it recently and couldn't keep my eyes on the screen.

"Crouching Tiger, Matchsticks for my Eyes" - marvellous. I walked out of the pictures when I saw that you know. Watched it since and was bored again, apart from the sword fight, even though it was just another dance, but at least they weren't stamping on each other's slippers or flying about like Peter Pan at the Xmas panto.

There's also a category in Chef's Luv Shack (game)called "Famous Gay Cowboys", whic probably has a reference to that episode somewhere, if it wasn't a later one that is.

And just to actually post something on topic, I've not seen HOV yet, but I want to.

You know, I thought it was a parrot too!

At closer inspection (of the monkey), it could just be French, and not at all fascist (sic)

Is it a gibbon? And whie you're at it, is a gibbon a monkey or an ape? I'd go for a monkey myself (fnarr fnarr).
