I do drop in occasionally but there is so much of the big two there that I just don't do...  :D

Shackleton . Two part tv movie starring Kenneth Brannagh as the eponymous explorer; my childhood hero and leader of one of the greatest stories of human fortitude and endurance ever told.

Sharky you should get yourself up to my work:

Enduring Eye' showcases Frank Hurley's photographs of the the 'Endurance Expedition' of 1914-1917, alongside items from the Library's polar collections.

Violence in defence is always valid

Isn't that what they think they are doing?

you missed a good event Tips, Mr McManus seemed a bit reticent, but that might have been the even handed and entertaining Mr Bishop (not a euphemism) telling his side of the Mills boon.

The sponsors done us proud, with free Caucasian sized willie warmers and a can of beer, which entertained me no end  :D

A number of other droids were stotting about the Yurt, and good to see Alex Ronald briefly before his train back to weegeeville... TMO should have him on the books permanently! Covers and page art

Rebellion and matt Smith came out smelling of roses too

Nope, now back to the pokey, the pillow slip and Mr Big.

Mean time if its seedy 40's Hollywood you want try The Fade-Out, no supernatural, elements but cracking tale... and those Black Monday Murders are just peachy too. Both highly recommended...
