I am a big fan off the Blake & Mortimer series.

i really went off these as the text was so badly written, it read like it was done by machine. Also simple things like English people in the 50s talking about 'the sidewalk'.

Barring something really horrendous happening with the covid numbers or a horrific new variant, I should be at TB this year. Not in any official droid-y capacity, just wandering around as a punter. If you spot an ageing goth in big boots and a black hat, that'll almost certainly be me.

Free Hugs this year?

The set-up sounds very ripe for clichés. I can almost write the mismatched bunch of wannabes and their backstories myself.

BTW, did anyone else read "Dear Becky" the Boys comic sequel? Wasn't bad.

Yep. They're fucking idiots. They want all the power or none of it. They're going to get none of it. PR is going to be the key that unlocks cooperation from the Greens (who will again eat into Labour votes in key marginals) and Lib Dems (less of a problem, but there are still major clashes in the West Country, and Labour voters might stop Libs winning seats in the south).

It says everything that an op-ed in The Guardian yesterday argued proportional representation would give smaller parties disproportionate power. No, it would give them proportionate power. THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT.

Even with gerry rigging, its worked well here in Scotland... at least in Hollyrood we get a representation of what we voted for, unlike Westminster

If anyone is still after this my LCS still has some. I took another two today (didn't want to take the piss) so if anyone wants one happy to post out - let me know if you are still looking.

Oh, is this still available? Would love to read some new ALE-Wing droid Dredd.

Yeah I have one left so just pop me your address Proudhuff and I'll get it in the post as soon as possible (might be this weekend might be before if I can).

Done!  :)

I'm booked up Hotel and tickets, need to get sorting out the train now I have my senior rail card  :)
Thought things were a bit 2k light, but there seems to be a steady growing stable of droids, even one or two Yanks worth visiting. Shaping up nicely, still will be so strange without Dave at his table.

In a strange timey-wimey thing, I'm now back to waiting for favourites to appear weekly: Gone Fishin', Virgil, QI, Gardener's World and even Gogglebox...

The X-Files, Season 11. Self-indulgent piffle from start to finish. Just awful.

yes, but did you like it?  ;)
