There was definitely a story, (a Judge Anderson, possibly?), that mentioned "the third sister" and she's called something like "Delirium" or something, but I think that was intended as more of a metaphor than an actual character.

Aha... You mean this bit in Necropolis:

That's not how you spell diarrhea.

Black dog bit me hard today. Walking around like nothing matters. Everyone sleepwalking into a monstrous dark future, lost in lies, half-truths and fear. Fear everywhere, leading the world by the nose. Nobody wants to look, nobody wants to listen. Found myself thinking that if today my heart finally did give out and I moved on, wouldn't be a bad thing. Least I'll miss all the horrors in store. Haven't felt so hopeless, so lost, in nearly a decade. Hard to stay focused. Hard not to brood. Do not want to slip back into that darkness I felt before but it's like a flood. Not sure how much longer I can stay afloat. Talking to a couple of trusted people helped a bit. Not much. Got to hang on, though. Got to beat it. Done it before, can do it again. Can do it again. Have to.

Got to beat it. Done it before, can do it again. Can do it again. Have to.

Good luck chaps, I too have over indulged over lockdown, going to be dry over weekdays, but its a struggle.
Mind you health and wealth options maybe driving my choices!

As my partner used to say, alcohol is a depressant,  you take it each day you're going to be depressed.

There must be somewhere a punch of middle aged men can get pissed in Scotland.

Bit aggressive there Del Boy!

Surely the collective term is paunch?

don't think we could stomach that!

The excellent Dredd and Chimpsky bookend the rather lackluster filling in this weeks thrill sandwich.
Dept S sorry K, feels like it could be set in any fictional future (or steampunk past) and its link to the Dreddverse is flimsy to say the least.
The Big Mech seemed to have just got fired up to be closed down. The whole thing appears to be a set up for a future tale.
I have no understanding of why Skipper Tracey has constantly been revived, is it that popular?

And a letters page!

I ducked out of the entire MCU after Endgame. I've had my fill, its fine, and for the most part have been dragging myself through the last half dozen movies just to reach that point. Didn't even bother with either of the Ant-Man movies. I tried to give Wandavision the benefit of the doubt, it at least seemed to be trying to come at this whole tired genre from a somewhat fresh angle but only made it through three episodes before the whole show shat the bed and went back to Disney witty-farcicalness. Loki will be another miss.

I'm probably just getting old and jaded but the constant omnipresence of these properties in our collective daily lives for what is now the larger portion of my life has really soured me to the MCU and just Disney in general.

I have similar sentiments and it was pretty much Endgame that did for me as well.  I might watch a movie here or there maybe, but at this point it's exhausting and they are just pumping out so much more of it now.  Thankfully there is stuff I know I like that I can rewatch.

Similar for me, and that goes for Star Wars too.
Currently happy to see True Detective series 3 now available free, series back on form after a disappointing 2nd series.

Dredd I agree with Leigh S, So much of this story is so un-Dredd, feels like a IDW style writing.

Devlin was superb. Who would have thought a demonic dildo would would elicit empathy? and that final punch page, excellent. Still have to check where and when I'm reading this as a double page of talking (knob) heads could frighten the servants and horses.

Diamond Dogs  yes, the Ron and Ron appearance was a bit weird! reading this but not really getting hooked.

The Returners was trippy but again not really getting hooked.

Deliverance fingerscrossed that's the last we see of the Gang of Four... well outstayed their welcome.

The floppy was well timed, enjoyed reading the whole thing in a oner, which I didn't in the prog.
