Just to open a whole new can of worms & theories with three old foes ment to be returning this series
Omega, The Rani & the cybermen & who's baby is that James Corden's character is looking after
Every year they say
The Rani
is coming back.
Cybermen
are coming back because there is already a pic with them and Rory online.

Man, if the first Dredd picture practically caused multiple flame wars, I'm giving THIS thread a WIDE berth ...

I think it depends largely on budget (which the Dave specials clearly lacked) and writing talent. If it's Naylor alone, the series is doomed—he's fine with plot, but not great with the funnies. Since Grant certainly won't return, Naylor needs another writing partner (or partners) to inject extra laughs into his sci-fi

Agreed.

Like he did with series VII and VIII

Only with jokes.
That might be a little cruel, I kinda liked Epideme and Nanarchy from VII.

I feel no shame.

Quote from: doggettX on 09 April, 2011, 03:22:48 AMThe show will wrap Sunday evening with "Movie X" -- the premier of an upcoming genre movie that won't be announced until the moment the reel starts to roll. "It could be anything. Nobody knows what it's going to be. That's closing the whole convention."

Hmmmm.....

Best not to get hopes up though.
Its probably X Men: FC

I believe it's Thor considering they said it's a film about a superhero with a strange name and Captain America is still doing re-shoots. Dredd wouldn't even be out of an edit-suite yet.

Ah...

I thought they meant an exteneded trailer like what happened with Green Lantern at Wondercon.

So a whole movie is going to be on show?
Should be intresting.

Yeah, I'd go with Thor too.

In this recent article http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31785 ,  many things are mentioned except "Dredd" :(

You're bothered by the fact that the universe can only sustain life for about another 35 billion years?

Really?

Well, she might have made plans ?
There's nothing more annoying than planning something ahead of time only to discover the universe is going to end.
