still a half decent idea though.

if tharg where to offer such an honour for a charity linked prog with certain characters named after our real or board names.
(someone sugested this before i think)

not only would most of us be up for a bid but likley forming a Q for the art work afterwards i we got in.

another one is likely the columist Guy Browning

now and then a character or reference can be found towards 2000ad in his work.

Weak at the top,
talks of jury duty and his giving the defence lawyer a true JUDGE DREDD face.so he knew he meant business.

i have noticed references in his work.including ,resyk, droids, and other subtle but noticable comments.

depends on the packing,
they tend to be randomly inserted as with the packets you buy,
in my experience anyway, if its a direct free packet just like in the shops then you can pretty much confirm each prog is differnt.

if its a marketing tool by the mag. you may find a selection of hard to get or exclusive inserts which encourage you to buy more then one issue.

i tend to wait for the ebay method. get a full set and pay an amount of money you feel is worth while.

currently the playing cards with the meg are of course all the same.

not Guinness or G&T or Jack Daniels

sounds like the marketing team failed to get the sponsors on board to pay for the product exposure.
sort of product placement in reverse.

i have been wearing a hat for the last 22 years for work and play.

for skiing i had a faux fur one with tail, rahter liked that one.
for work i have the chefs torque

and these days for after work.its the golf cap.
since age and terestone have gotten larger and the sun stronger the need to wear a cap to protect the ever increasing shiney bit has made this neccary.http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:0ZtQJjgEjBYJ:www.chefwear.com/images/storeitems">

at this stage only the people who read it are interested.

with so little detail released i think this says it all.
for any whom dont know its being made. they see the image and the understand.

looking forward to it, hoping they dont screw it up.

a return trip to SE Asia. on a cheap n cheerful airline and the life affirming soapy massage by a hand selected group of non comic reading young females, which would make lezzie pole dancing look like a tea party for the vicarge.

or

progs 1-20 in damn fine condition, framed and up on the wall.

or

invest it in lottery tickets and just maybe be able to get all of the above in every post on this thread and still have the ring.
