i considered this recently also. with the recent truckers story and the mutants revenge.they where talking about a trip of a few days i think to mega city 2????? that does not sound right.i thought that place was gone.
 
but its been 25 years so i would consider this to be fair to have happened. though my big question has always been.
why did dredd go by road? couldnt he have flown there and stopped just before the city?
course that would not have been much of an epic but there you go.

they where buiult at exceedingly high costs to the citizens. the justice dept stepped in realised it was to far gone to stop.so they spent more money on them on.in the end they where sold  to an eastern state mega citiy and used for large scale synthi turkey rearing.
or was that the london one?

good question there hi ex could someone who helped pay for them in the uk answer this one to us non tax paying citizens of the board.
though i think they where replaced by the great wall which was built in cals time. if i remember rightly.

they would highy likely not realise, you see X/GF tend to all sort of blur into one another.we dont have very short term memory spans.as such your safe i would say.

im not sure if its a word, but we seem to agree on the fact that B/W art is not black and white. its art that does not use the colours of the rainbow.
see classic gibson dredds and robo hunter. or the orginal dan dare in the first year.
harlem heros etc.
but swashbuckling has place and i look forward to a second installment. would enjoy to see gibsons take on such a project in full monochrome
( old school). or perhaps jock could do it more justice (new school)

i enjoyed it but felt the art could have done it more justice.i enjoy B/W but this was to monochrome for its own good. which is sad as steves stuff is normally excellent. this was a bit lazy looking.
the story was good for a change of style.i kept at it and did not stop reading it each week. not a classic, but not a Bison either. if book 2 is done im sure it will offer greater depth to enjoy.
entertaining stuff. but it was up against asylum each week. that was tough fight to be in.given its subject matter and artistic direction.
overall a good read, i will read again in a few months. completley. it will read better then.
slow boiler.

hoping for one of the following in the stocking this year.
1/piece of art work from 2000ad.
2/PS2 with super scope .
3/a course of golf lessons.want to take carrear to higher levels(sad but its true)
4/pleasure boat driving license course.
(want to drive big fast boats on off day.)

but if none of the above are forthcoming. a big smile and geniune thankyou from any one i gave a gift to would be more then enough. to be honest that would top of the list actually.
