HOW I CHAT?

1) Go to www.paltalk.com to download the chat client (best way) and then create an account.

2) Log on to PalTalk's website and open the room from there.

Hello.


1. As others have said, boredom is a major reason, but stupidity is also a crucial factor. There's also a lot of unpleasent and nasty people out there. At the end of the day, there will always be people who break the law.



2. The comic differs substantially from the movie in terms of the amount of crimes the judges deal with. In the comic Justice Department is all-powerful and even the most minor crime is generally identified and dealt with swiftly. The rigorous standards the department demands from its judges ensures that this situation is maintained, if standards were to drop corruption would begin to seep in and eventually the whole system would slowly crumble.



Of course everything I just said only applies to Mega City 1 BEFORE the events of Day of Chaos. I won't spoil it in case you haven't read it yet, but let's just say that there have been some massive changes to the status quo......



3. This one is kind of tough to answer without saying "this is for the purposes of story-telling". It makes sense that there would be some bad judges out there. You can always chalk it up to stress or stubborn character flaws beginning to re-assert themselves.



4. How judges are seperated into different departments has never been made fully clear. This could be something that is decided early on, or after extensive training to make sure they have the essential qualities all judges need (stuff like dedication, honesty, etc.).

From what we've seen of Tek Judges, and Med Judges it seems as if they are not nearly so skilled at combat and policing as regular judges, so it seems reasonable to assume that after a few years in the academy a cadet would be transferred to the relevant department based on their skillset.

His sparkling wit and wonderful sense of humour made this forum come alive. Now it's like some kind of overly-sensitive corpse that complains every time one of its limbs expresses an opinion. And if the limb says something controversial then Molch-R bans it.

I mean, I guess, I'm kind of losing the metaphor here. The point is, even if you didn't like Roger then you should know that plenty of people like myself thought he was aces and a wizard fellow. Even Sir Colin Macneil likes Roger and he's a droid with a reputation to maintain. Face it - it's just not the same without Hyperclown.
