"or am i just stupid... possibly apathetic or plain too tired to give a damn ?"

Yes, yes and maybe.

You should download AVG (virus checker). It'll take a while wothout broadband (sigh... broadband...) but it should work even on your ancient computer.

Forget about Norton. It refused to do anything for me too. It's just stoopid.

I got a free two month trial of broadband here which I'm very much looking forward to abusing. First though I'd appreciate a few pointers on setting up the yoke. If you can offer simple detailed instructions (as if you were speaking to a child) I would be very grateful.

More importantly (eh, sort of) I want links for stuff to dowload. Games, video, comics and anything else worth getting. My PC is old and slow so nothing too fancy.

Cheers!

Cover: A nice elegant, boring cover. Really, really annoying pun.

6/10

Judge Dredd: Solid. Needed a little extra push to make it as good as the preceding parts. Still very good though. Wagners script and Flints art worked well in communicating the nightmarish aftermath of a nuclear explosion.

I knew Nimrod would meet up with Vienna and rescue her but I hadn't anticipated him to tragically end up risking her life.

I think I know how this will end but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'll still love reading it.

8/10

Faces: Oh dear. having not read the original story there was never any real attatchment to the characters but now I actually dislike them. The story is dull and I'm not interested in knowing what happens next.

This doesn't even have the original writer. What's the point? Where are my trousers?

3/10

Red Seas: This is fun! The idea of the mens souls being used to power the scarecrows was a bit familiar but what the heck, the story is good fun.

Little touches like the backstory for the characters and the man in a dress make this story more than just a cynical space-filler.

6/10

Lobster Random: This was good stuff. Not quite as good as the first story arc but getting to know the character was half the fun then. Also, stuff like discovering Lobsters "origins" were completely different to what we previously believed and Lobster losing a limb make the story a bit too dramatic. I'm growing used to the childish humour.

I still really like this character and the story is fun and has some clever ideas.

6/10

Synonym: It was alright.

5/10

He lacks the ability to colour things in. Thats the problem.
