Ah I suppose I'm just upset because I feel it'll be another wasted opportunity. Big build up and then... nothing. I just feel like I should be doing something spectacular every year but i just cant be bothered.

On a related note what can you blame depression and irritability on in your 20's to 30's? If I have to start being cheerful and stuff all the time I'll be really miserable...

Up to 16 it was fine but to be honest I'm fairly dissapointed with the last few years? Wheres the money? The women? Nowhere thats where. Plus theres only been one good film these last few years and the sequel wasn't as good.

No, I think I'm justified in my misery all right. It acts as a sort of blanket protecting me from what I know is about to happen.

Ah the joy of self-pity. So soothing and reassuring. Well I'm off to write some teen poetry and paint my skull all white with black lipstick...

After failing my resit of Leaving Cert Maths on Monday I will be 20 years old on Thursday. Over the hill aready... soon I'll be sitting in my dismal flat gathering my few pennies to attempt unsuccesfully to pay off various bills.

Failing a lottery win it's the beginning of the end for me. To say I'm not wise in the ways of the world is a vast understatement and y'know who I blame? Everyone. Everyone except me. Still after 20 it'll be half over...

So here's to another year of illness, ignorance and reams of Pat Mills nonsense...
