They should have Stallone dressed like that in the new film, playing a simp. That'll teach him, he'll wish he had a helmet to hide behind.

But to get back to this whole movie thing, do you think they'll radically redesign the Lawmasters again. Get a wee endorsement for Harley Davidson in there? Both the U.S. Military and several of their State police forces have used Harleys, so it wouldn't be too preposterous. I bloody love Harleys, so maybe I'm a bit biased here

Rather than start a new thread, this is something that I had brought to my attention last night and thoroughly enjoyed...

HA, that's fantastic.

(It's also completely irrelevant as I disregard those fake episodes 1-3 that came out a few years ago)

What about Chewie?  Just leave him to rot in the cells, or get Han out first then hope no one notices he's 'off the wall' while she sneaks in a second time to somehow bust Chewie out?

I reckon miss Princess just didn't like Chewie, or wookies in general for that matter, in EpIV, she refers to him as a 'walking carpet', no doubt a racial slur on wookies in the Star Wars universe, and then at the end of the movie, she doesn't deem him worthy of a medal. Waddabitch

(OK, there's one moment of "But if they've never existed because they erased them in the past, how do they know they've never existed?" but I'll let them off)

Aye, stories involving time travel can usually be picked apart. The time travel elements of enterprise always ragged me a bit, it was like the producers thought people would only watch a Bakula show if time travel was involved.

No matter how good something looks on the page -even Bolland's uniform- the reality is a lot different. The uniform has to fit a variety of body shapes, not what just looks good on who plays Dredd and Anderson.

Not neccessarily, they could contrive it so that the eagle shoulder pads are only worn by higher ranking Judges, such as Dredd, whilst the other grunts just have the shoulder armour on both shoulders.

I think the important thing with the uniform is that they are distinctive, and not just generic future armour that, minus the Judge motifs, could appear in any sci-fi movie. Jock's concept art looks promising mind

'Working' as a car-park attendant (i.e. sitting in a wee booth full of monitors), I have to amuse myself to fill the days.

Now imagine Pat Mills wrote reading aids for kids:

Off Topic / Snooker

The Snooker's back on, and the other day we had the rare pleasure of seeing Jimmy White playing the other day.

So, I was just wondering about Ronnie O'Sullivan. He's an amazing player, but does anyone else thinks he comes across as a moany twat in interviews?

I don't want to start a negative thread, so I'll say I do like Neil Robinson, and young local boy Mark Allen. And this new best of 5 format is a bit Steve 'interesting' Davis

Any other snooker fans want to weigh in?

This thread makes me feel more inadequate than normal. I can't draw for toffee.

I should really stop looking.

I know what you mean, but I persevere anyway, hopefully I'll get some toffee soon (even though I prefer fudge)

Loved Transmetropolitan, there's rumours kicking about that none other than Patrick Stewart wants to make it into a movie
