As far as I can tell from the intro (not paying for the independent archive) there is a story about this over there from early may...

However, it seems that the distro arm may be seperate to the shops, so not an issue in this case...

Yup.

And I know that a large number of Newsies are supplied by WHSmiths distro arm.  Does anyone know if this is included in the rumoured sell off?

Yipes

From the article:

"And we're about to have even less: WH Smith, the UK's dominant newsagent/bookshop, is tarting itself up for sale and is cutting all titles that sell less than 35-40,000 copies a month. So comics will soon only be available in comic shops."

Isn't that about Tooth's circulation???

Ooh, hadn't looked there.

Ah,

Umm,

Wake,

You don't want to know this really...

Same trouble with Firefox and the Chatroom...

Looks nice in IE though (couldn't check before as I couldn't get my password to sign in on IE)

Grey for the links looks good.  Anthough possibly a tad too close to the background colour...

Keep up the good work Wake.  I'm sure most of us are trying to help make sure you win the "Best Website" next year as well...

Been at lunch and the site is now lovely and working!!!

Looks good.  Now don't break it again.

Cheers to Wake and IP for sorting this - and sorry for being a PITA for using "another browser" ;-P

Wake,

Thanks for the fiddling.  Firefox still not playing happy with the new site though.

Will stick with IE for the moment...

Yep, that one works.

Hopefully something can be sorted, as atm the moment I can't sign into IE, so need to post from here.

At least I can have the site as my IE homepage as I use that so little ;)

Using Firefox 0.8 the site work, but there is no formatting at all.

It's all in unformatted text, no backgrounds, really, really old skool (hence I thought it was a joke...)

Probably looks the same in Safari - but won't be able to check till the evening...

2 things.

1) The new site is very, very, broken in Firefox.  Thought it was a joke from Friday until I happened to look in IE (spit).

2) The email password don't seem to work.  I am cookied on Firefox and don't have my password on IE (spit)

3) Looks nice on IE though...
