Which B5 comic was that, because at least one series was drawn by Mike Collins.  John Ridgway drew 5 more.  Admittedly the other artist I don't know...

Well I spent the last couple of days of last week feeling the same, and gave up 5 years ago.  So it's likely not the cigs.

The "Big Mac, Fries To Go" will be "Can You Dig It!" by the incredible Pop Will Eat Itself.  And it's from 1989, so don't blame MacDonalds for this one.

Suggestions / Re: A novel idea (ho ho)

There's an intro to the hardback edition of Inversions what points out that Vassil is "not of our Culture" (think it includes the capital).  This was ommitted in the paperback, as it was judged too spoilerly for the Culture readers.

I think that the nice thing about inversions is that you can read it purely as it appears, without knowledge of the Culture, and get a good read.  If/Once you recognise that it as being Culture then there is a seperate level it works on.

Did you realise that the main clue to that is absent from the paperback edition?

When my gut tells me things like that I treat it to some quality thai curry, some beer and other "treats".

I then spend the rest of the day acting like a child

Prog / Re: Prog 1441... Earth Shattering!...

My reading of it was that although repentant, the doctor still wanted to die, as he'd realised that he couldn't atone for his actions.

The "please" was requesting the end, not mercy.

Agree about the pause being genuine tho'

Great prog.  Really liked the double sized Shakara.   Now with added Plot ;)

I suspect that the missing thrill from next week gives us space for a double-sized finish for Slaine.

You realise it won't be there in the morning...

This is true of many of the traders in the Camden Markets - especially the one selling cool t-shirts that you don't have the money for that day.

Well that was an interesting match.

Even for a neutral.

Shame the girls in the pub left at half time though.  Woulda made the celebrations at the end a tad more interesting.
