The last linked version is fine.  The earlier one is probably needs you to have a divx plugin on your computer.

Books & Comics / Bristol COn update....
10 March, 2005, 03:43:39 PM
Prompted by the SOlar Wind website update I wandered over to the Bristol Comics Expo site and noticed that tickets are now available.

So my weekend ticket is now booked up, I was just wondering what peoples plans are for the weekend.  I need  to find somewhere to stay - Unfortunately my better half is doing exams the following weekend so now won't be with me (my wallet is scared) - and am wondering about whether I need 1 or 2 nights hotel...

I don't think me mate Wonx would appreciate me crashing at his place pished...

Somewhere in teh vicinity of Hondo-Cit a mysterious army is on the Rampage looking for a mystical sword.

Elsewhere, on a flying island, lives the young Emperor of Hondo Cit.  During a visit from a Hondo Cit judge the Emperor and his family are attacked by Ninjas.  The Emperor's bodyguard uses another mysterious sword to defeat all but 2 of the Ninja.

These two return to their master, the leader of the rampaging army, with the clothing and hair of the female guardian of the Emperor's sister.

Is this about right?

General / LITG / End Is Nigh Shocker!!
08 March, 2005, 03:53:33 PM
I dunno how, but someones managed to get "The End is Nigh" mentioned in this weeks Lying in the Gutters.

My guess is that Frazer had something to do with it...

I hope Molcher is planning a large print run on this....

Ach Bugger.

I was supposed to up to Edinburgh Thursday/Friday with work, so could have come along.

However due to a distinct lack of trains back on Friday or the weekend, I am now up there on Monday/Tuesday...

From the "Historic Royal Palaces"

*  There are two uniforms for the Body. The ceremonial uniform is worn for State Occasions ie, when the monarch visits the Palace or for any state occasion that the Body attends. It is predominantly red and gold with red stockings, white ruff and black patent shoes.

* For everyday wear, the Yeoman Warders wear a blue undress uniform. There are two weights - for summer and winter - and this is the uniform visitors will see day to day when they come to the Tower.
