Tharg has been alerted to this phenominal Thrill Power Outcome Potential!
Hopefully He's dusting off his intergalactic wallet as we speak.
To miss such an opportunity would indicate extreme Thrill-suckage on the part of his Greenness!

I just think it'd be great to see some fresh takes on our favourite characters, it wasn't supposed to be 'He's better than so'n so'.
There's so many talented artists ( writers I'm sure too..) who'd love to have a go on 2000ad's characters.
2000Ad should be looking to pick up more European artists. Maybe go to the Cons in France, Italy etc looking for them.
We used to have a stable of gifted European contribution provided by art agencies, and I don't see that anymore.
If we had more contemporary input from our Euro and US counterparts I'm sure it'd help sales of albums in these lucrative markets too.

Ah! good point Mr Ming! When I get a good image of it, I'll email it to you! It's a huge picture he did. He's as mad as a bag of weasels that man.
I once failed to appreciate the genius of one of his scribbles, so he tore it up and threw it out over Rathbone Place. Then sat back down aand quietly drew as if nothing had happened!

I used to work with John Watkiss at an Animation studio in Soho. He taught us life drawing, and advanced alcohol appreciation/abuse. He was doing layouts and boards on Coppola's now defunct pitch on  a Pinochio remake.(Really.) I've got a great picture he did of Ming the Merciless somewhere. i'll dig it out and post it ASAP.
I think Guy Davis would be great on a story like the recent 'Nosferatu' story in Dredd.
I'd like to see Paul Pope's take on 2000ad as well.

Hey art,
I'm really enjoying the BPRD stuff too. I think his style works really well with Mignola's very simple storytelling, He's got a really gritty dark approach, slightly cartoony as well, which has brought out a bit more humour in characters like Roger.
Check out the Dredd he did on my gallery page at Comicartfans.com

General / JUDGE DEATH by Darkhorse Comics' Guy Davis
20 March, 2005, 09:39:59 PM
Guy Davis, the art ninja responsible for the BPRD miniseries, The Marquis and Sandman Mystery Theatre sent me this Judge Death Illo.
I'd love to see him doing some covers for 2000AD. It'd be good to steal one of their artists for a change!
I've posted a couple of his other sketches up at www.comicartfans.com, a great site. Check ot the galleries, there's some great stuff.

There was also a great short story called 'Bax the Burner' by Alan Moore and Steve Dillon, for a Special (I think), itwas reprinted by Quality in the Sam Slade Monthly Mag later on.

Could someone explain to me, in simple laymen's terms, how to undo Wake's unfathomable redesign of the message board?
When I go to the database chatroom it's empty, and I can't see an obvious place to type in whatever retarded crap I'm supposed to do, to get it as it was before.
Ah, bollochs maybe this is a sign from Grud to not even bother with messages. nice one Wake.
Disgruntled and grinding teeth,
