EuroComics is working closely with Patrizia Zanotti, Pratt's long-time collaborator, to present the complete Corto Maltese in a series of twelve quality trade paperbacks in Pratt's original oversized black and white format. They will also feature new translations from Pratt's original Italian scripts by Simone Castaldi, Associate Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures at Hofstra (and author of Drawn and Dangerous: Italian Comics of the 1970s and 1980s), and Mullaney.

Very cool!  You look more Snow than Snow himself.  Or possibly a sort of Simon Davis paints himself as Jon Snow kind of Jon Snow.

Didn't I mention OK Comics will have some of the Hardback? Thought I had...

I'm sold on the idea of at least a tribute.

I recall folk being impressed by the Department of Monsterology Logo and that was done by a Mr P J Holden. So there are connoisseurs still out there!

I agree Steve. If it gets repackaged with anything it would be best leaving it as it is.

So it is...

Yeah. It does appear to be a clunker.

Warning - Some Squaxx may bite... Some look very feral...

It isn't a draft, it's the final copy - Jock's art is prior to casting so you'll see interesting differences in what some characters look like. It isn't all the same angles that an artist may have used if he'd done the art after the film. I should stress the 'may'.

Well maybe Atari when they had the licence for Dredd and wouldn't make any more games but kept the licence...?

Not for me as I am not a big gamer but I know it bugged lots of Dredd fans at the time.

Bless Rebelion.

I have a Pdf of it for review purposes. This is a perfect example of why paper is best... this will be an amazing book to hold.

And no, there aren't digital versions to buy.

I wasn't given  permission to preview any of it (I also didn't ask, maybe I should have) but a review is up telling you why I think it is good. I even give tips on how to read it ;)

Review on my blog if you want to read it.

only one wee hiccup, on the page after the Swampthing advert, the last panel has the wrong brother speaking the line, hopefully get that sorted for the trade

Actually if you look again you'll see it is Henry talking, you'll see his burns under his right eye. It is the shadow making his hair look dark and make him look more like his
ex-mustached
brother. Also in that panel he is looking down at Arthur and final panel on page facing Arthur is looking up at Henry.

I say it in my review but I'll repeat it here: I am reviewing from a Pdf I didn't get a paper copy before anyone asks. As far as I understand there are no physical review copies with anyone. No, no digital copy for sale this is meant for PAPER.

So I can't tell you if the double page spreads, there are several, are perfect. I'd like to bet that they are...

This looks magnificent and I'm looking forward to seeing one in the flesh.

Pye-01 has done an ace job as far as I could see.

We woulda needed a whip round if they'd been two of the 'missing' ones
