Greetings. What happens if you get pissed off in your job - do you have to run away from the circus?
I Have to unicycle away, it's in the contract.

I wish I had joined this forum a while back, I have acting / tv and film experiance and perform as a living...also have a circus bus kitted out as a mess 'tent' (yes it is also in a mess) but even if I could I can't make this weekend due to commitments :-(

Good luck with it, hope it goes well for you.

something gooey and unsavioury hidden in there could do the trick (you know porridge or something), of course the bag would be ruined but it'd be fun to watch her face when her had sinks into something cold and slimy.

CU Radbacker

Maybe something with indelible ink in it too, then she will have a long lasting reminder.

Borags, crazed circus performer guy! I love circuses, me. When are you travelling around the south east?
SBT

Ummm not till next year sometime though we are gradually slowing the touring down as it is well hard on the family. I come from the Lewes area myself but now live up norf in East Yorkshire.

My son Otto(15) has been reading 2000ad since he could open his eyes, he was always looking over my shoulder or sitting on my lap and having a look, when he learned to read he took my progs to his room, now at 15 he is my performing partner in our circus and an up and coming comic artist, knows more about PC's than I do, can outdo me in a 'fight', has more friends on facebook and is taller than me.

Bless his little cotton socks steel toecap boots.

A circus owner walked into a bar to see everyone crowded about a table watching a little show. On the table was an upside down pot and a duck tap dancing on it. The circus owner was so impressed that he offered to buy the duck from its owner. After some wheeling and dealing, they settled for £10,000 for the duck and the pot.

Three days later the circus owner runs back to the bar in anger, "Your duck is a ripoff! I put him on the pot before a whole audience, and he didn't dance a single step!"

"So?" asked the ducks former owner, "did you remember to light the candle under the pot?"

I think our first AD caricature has appeared.

Well done that man. 2000ad has fully shaped your mind.

Welcome thru the parallels.

Oh yes, my mind is fully 2000ad'ed, I spent 4 months in bed back in 1990 due to a broken back and spent all that time taking meds and reading back copies of 2000ad, am sure it affected me  somewhat  :o

Thanks :-)

I feel welcome (though not sure if welcome is happy about it)

I promise not to spam the forum with pics but this is one of my faves from last year, at a festi in Leicester even though it ain't AD related.

Welcome to the board / Hello from a crazy circus performer

Hi peeps

I thought I should join the forum, I have lurked here before but never joined, now here I am.

MY name is Greg, I have a wife, 2 kids and one is named after Otto Sump (Otto that is, not sump!!) and my son is very proud of his name, a cat, dog and hamster I have been reading since before 2000ad first came out and still have the first 10 copies of Action comic (though the hookjaw iron on transfer was used many years ago).

I have a sea container with my comic collection in as I spend up to 8 months a year on the road with my circus (www.circusbox.co.uk)and just don't have room to carry them all with me as we do take the dog, cat, hamster with us, oh and the kids too LOL.

I spend far to much time on FB, Twitter, my own vehicle owners website www.dodge50.co.uk and forum (http://dodge50.co.uk) for dodge 50 vehicle owners (mainly hippies, bands, travellers and the horsey set), I also have 4 trucks to play with and want to make my 7500kgs van into a mega city 1 style vehicle.

Likes:    JD, SD's, Ace Truckin, ABC's, RT, Future Shocks and N Dante.
Dislikes: erm.....space girls, big dave......erm........well not many i can think of.

I eat fire, ride unicycles / municycles (off road), body burn, have taught fire eating live on TV (eating, not breathing) and have performed at Buck house for the queen and charlie boy, though I am not into politics, religion or stuff like that but I did get loads of work because of it :-\.

Well I could gabble on forever but maybe thats enough of me for now.

So Hello and see ya about :-X
