if they made it, then grey would be a better colour

Yeah, that was F/X man Rob Bottin, IIRC, suggesting blue wouldn't be conducive to film or something.

I don't think the biochips would work too well on film, there was a load of hassle just figuring out how they'd translate to a Big Finish audio. Dunno TBH.

Button Man would be a terrible film adapted literally, the cinematic stuff in the strip works because it's a strip, not the same thing at all really :(

IIRC a book with the title The Architects Of Fear appears in Watchmen. Bit of a clue, that.http://membres.lycos.fr/tmcr/daystar/cotten.jpg">

If there was another Titan FS book it'd probably just shove the two Moore volumes together, which could be a shame because he's not the only creator to have produced good stuff.

e.g. there's been loads of classic art in the one-offs since 2000AD went full colour. Far too many to remember details of right now. The Lovecraft themed one with the autistic guy's carer, that one with the space-pirates letting a swarm loose...

That was Darklands, which was a brilliant idea on paper, really. An ingenious industrial take on fertility rites, with the derelict collieries taking the place of stone circles, 'Stomp' style dancing with bin lids instead of maypoles, etc. And plenty of room for satirical swipes at the pit closure policy. None of these ideas were exploited, instead we got Craig Fairbrass looking laughably moody.

A pity the film was so toss.

Yep, seen the Rollerball remake. Dire.

The latest bit of Hollywood blah to make me cringe was Keanu Reeves apparently starring as John Constantine.

Ho-hum.

The thing about McMahon's early 90's style (see Howler) is that it looks so much like cell animation, complete with it's unique kinetic vibrancy..

McMahon did character designs for the animated biblical series Testament, which was on telly in the mid 90's.

Polo-necks, beards and stickin' yer finger in yer ear. Many many more, available of 'Folk Off And Die', out now on K-Tel.

Y'know, I'd almost forgotten that Cliff could draw something other than Dredd.

I'm not saying that all women should cover up

Wouldn't matter if you did, as Western women are told by cosmetics firms to cover their faces every day.

Nah, sounds like Shanty Town. The bit where Dredd goes "Anyone tries sneaking back - dissuade 'em!" or something similar.

Either Shanty Town or The Hotdog Run.
