There's room there for sharks, which should satisfy the Hookjaw crowd (can they ever be sated? The fans I mean.)

The kiss of death for any future-sport is what else happens while it's being played. There's boardroom intrigue or prison survival (usually both) and that's about it.

IIRC Hershey asked Schenker to step down from the council the minute she took charge, so he could concentrate on running Psi-Div full time to avoid another Narcos sized cock up. Schenker says something like "I had a feeling this would happen", which was a nice touch.

Not been reading much lately and nothing interesting for the forseeable future. But if and when it comes out in paperback I quite fancy The Devil In The White City, a non-fiction parallel account of the staging of the 1893 World's Fair and a serial murderer who ran a hotel purposely automated to imprison and kill the guests.

Liked the way Tarrant whined about the cheats being "motivated by sheer greed". Yeah, and all the other contestants turn up just for the thrill of sitting next to a star like him.

because Lord Foster's Erotic Gerkhin is entirely flangeless

There's a joke here somewhere about being shown the way to Cockfosters, but the punchline "yeah, drink it warm" might be taken out of context.

Ezquerra's unmatched at depicting cool bastards. If anyone can take Blackblood away from being the comedy peg-leg, and return the character to being an evil swine, then he can.

It'd be fair to say he can bring engaging personalities to any robot characters, even half glimpsed minor ones in the background. So I reckon he's a good choice.

I'm really looking forward to this new ABC adventure. Wow, If McMahon could do a follow up too...

Bah, only had the bog standard green one. Lots of fun dragging it through the soil and making pretend explosions, though.
