Forgot to add my favourite Slade line.

On seeing a hospital ward filled with Hoagies:

Er, no.

The Ultimates was, indeed, excellent (although, admittedly, I only read the first few) and it was similarly great on the Authority.

However, after he's killed a few people, pulled a few shock moments and run some dramatic dialogue, he runs out of ideas and wanders off elsewhere to use exactly the same formula again.

I bet he looks nothing like George Clooney.

Back to the point, I think whoever started this thread has simply highlighted yet another one of those Big Meg glitches born of endless plot devices.

It's what newspaper diary columns refer to as "something from the department of It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time."

Let's ask Rennie to write stories abouts Psis and birdies again. That's always entertaining...

Isn't the difference that mutation is a genetic defect, whereas psi power, although they can detect a natural propensity towards it, is harder to explain and not really a genetic issue?
