Perhaps not.

Well done, Karne, for using your prestigious title!

However, on the question of your family, I'm a little puzzled.

I did released someone from the stinking dungeons of the Aquarium of Solitude, but perhaps it was the wrong family.
It's hard to keep up with all my evil plots.

Either I released the wrong folk - in which case you can bugger off because no-one else is getting out - or they didn't turn up because they don't like you.

Never mind.

The Trout returns with these messages:

Our charity bonfire raised five and a half grand and no-one was maimed, so we're very happy.

More importantly, the limerick competition has garnered some serious quality here, so I now happily announce the winners.

Special mention to Karne for his tribute to the Trout.
As a reward, I will release his family intact and give him the title OTE - Order of the Trouty Empire!

Another OTE to Oddboy for sheer volume and sugary sweet tributes to his new bride. (Try not to tell people you're a student Nathan. They might judge you harshly.)

A third to Dounreay for pointing out SinDex are "shite" - I'm being entirely objective here.

A hearty "well done and thanks" to everyone who joined in the fun!

And finally, the winner is... (drum roll)

The incredible JimBobReturns for his wonderful pisstake of Dan Dare, complete with references to anal sex!

Well done, you evil sicko! You deserve a place in the Trouty pantheon.

Your prize...

Arise, Sir JimBobReturns!

Nobel prizes all round, folks!

Still time for more entries.

The Trout will announce a winner later in the weeks, after he has had time off to help build a huge bonfire and set off explosions.

It's all for charridy, mate.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff!
Karne, you're a cheeky wee genius.

Here's another offering from the fish:

There was a green weirdo named Rogue
Who spoke in a strange future brogue
"Oh skev!" he would cry
"Let's knife or I'll die!
"And I wish I was green like a frogue!"

Well, nearly.

More entries requested, oh poetic subjects...

Er, thanks.

No-one else?

There was an old bugger called Dredd
Who kept a tin hat on his head
One day in the bath
He just had to laugh
When he found all his hair was now dead.

Oh dear.

Can anyone better a bad 2K ditty?

It's almost become a tradition here that, as your ruler winds down towards another weekend of getting drunk and sentencing people to death, he suggests a way for us all to waste our time.

This week, I'm keen to hear your favourite limericks.

Please append your ridiculous five-line masterpieces here.

The best one will win a special title from my Royal stock of weird fishy heraldic anacronisms!

Here's mine:

There was a young man from Dundee
Who climbed a very tall tree
He felt such a clown
When he couldn't get down
And he's been there since 1903!

(hee hee)

Hmmm...

"Boy, I'd love to write a story where Dredd beats Henrik Larsson to death with his daystick."

Now I understand everything...

Right click on any icon and select Properties to get its name.

There's a list of them somewhere. I think it's in Downloads.

Then go to the chatroom and type /icon with one space and then the name of the icon.

Or if you want to make one, or have someone make one, people usually help. They're all kind computery people.

But hands off the fish. :-)
