That colour spread above shows a problem i had - the actual axe blade looks like it should be metal. But try as i could, it never looked right, so i went for organic all over.
Still fired up on the Biog front so i thought i'd have a go at a bust of one of the Warriors.

The reason its a bust is - i don't know how the hell i'd do the solar panels in the abdomen.
I'm stuck at the moment too with the dangly bits where the mouth would be - in some panels they hang down loose and in others they're joined to the shoulder blades
Hmmm...

The only corrcetion i did do was to change the quite glossy sheen to a more matt finish.
That was after my wife pointed out that the "handle", in that colour and quite shiny, looked like a turd.
Still does a bit, but i try not to think about it.

Its roughly 1/2nd scale, coming in 11 inches long.
The colour scheme was a bit of a quandry as i thought i was making it a bit too gruesome but, if you go back and take a look, it sure looks gnarly to me. So open wounds it was:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v63/Mangamax/P3210097-1.jpg">

And the best thing was, it only cost me about 3 quid of Das Pronto, a bit of tin foil and some cocktail stickshttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v63/Mangamax/P3210095.jpg">

Re-reading the very earliest Progs for reference shots of Old One Eye, i got taken all over again with the brilliant Biog designs by Belardinelli.
All fired up, the Hag Queen got shoved to one side and it was out with the sculpting tools:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v63/Mangamax/P3210094.jpg">

That's a lot of Ashford's.
But think there's a few in this country?
If the Squaxx above all come from the Kent version though, we could have our own anniversary bash, with no worries on the last train home quandry.
By the way, you can add Captain Skank to the Kent Ashford group.

Just accquired the Jock prelims and Wagners script for this tale (cheers Steve).
Real interesting to see how Jock interpreted the descriptions and then how suggestions and ammendments were made after.
Thing is, i don't have the issue with the final result.
Could anyone post a scan of a least one page so i can see how it turned out till i track one down?

And while we're at it, got a Deadlock at the same time. He's real nice and the pose is spot-on Bisley or Walkerhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v63/Mangamax/P3210099.jpg">
