Given that there is a huge amount of orphans / unwanted children in the world already, you also have to question why anyone would really want a cloned human...
(Would it not be easier & better all round to stop abortions & cloning by putting these people in contact with each other?)

Cloning limbs/organs (other than the brain) may be acceptable for medical transplant reasons, but I can see NO reason why full human cloning should ever need to be used.

There are further moral issues than so far discussed - questions that cannot be answered until a 'perfect' clone has been created.
Would a clone actually have a human soul?
Should a clone be classed as a person or an organism/animal?
We'd like to think that yes, a clone is just like anyone else - but we can't know that until we've got one living (and dying) amongst us.
God gives us the soul that makes us who we are - not scientists.
Would a clone has a soul would it have a different soul to the one it was cloned from or would it be effectively a new person (more like a son/daughter then the same copy)?

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Oddgirl & I were wandering around Covent Garden yesterday afternoon - that might be the most Christmassy place ever...
& we went on the horsey carasel & I bought a silly Santa hat (which is now on my head now as I type)

I had no idea that PVS had approached Jock with his Ultimate Budgie storyline...

Oddgirl (kind of) met him in Tower Records (Piccadilly Circus) in the spring (she didn't talk to him because he was his mobile to Alex James) - (she didn't talkt to him but yes she did hang about eavesdropping on his conversation!)

Nemisis Book IV I think...
As I perceived it (when I read it in summer 2002)Nemisis and Deadlock where separate beings (one a alien Warlock - the other a Khaos robot) that met up over some chaos ritual & their "souls combined" or some such techno-pagen hocus pocus (sounds like they ****ed each other to me!).
Therefore they were linked as one being, so that Nemisis could stand in for Deadlock as the 7th ABC Warrior while the robot was otherwise unavailable.

This was a little far fetched and would have been just about logically acceptable if it was a TV series rather than a comic & the actor who played Deadlock was off making some Hollywood movie to work on the series so the writers had to come up with an excuse as to why Deadlock was missing & how to cover up the lack of numbers.
