I'm glad they're different!  Most FS's are fairly predictable from the title (so I usually try to ignore the title until after I've read the story if I can) so I was worried that it was the same joke..  Yes, the recent messageboard version sounds much better.

Who was it that posted the potential FS on Cultural Exchange?  (Either Jimbob or Arthur... I can't remember sorry!!)

While surfing around this site I found the following (see link).  Perhaps you should check prog 593 to see what happened.

Probably...
And about the catering gig, I think Shakara wanted to have an impartial affair which is why he didn't want you slicing & dicing the guests to make the first course!

No offence meant DD, I'm just saying I'd rather pay 8p for a brand new copy of the first prog than hundreds for a battered 5th hand 25 year old copy.
Especially seeing as 8p is worth even less nowadays, but I'd have to be careful when getting the pennies together, must not use any that were made after '77 or the space/economic/time continuum will collapse.

Just bitter & twisted folk who are fed up with reading letters to Tharg saying "I've been reading since prog 1.....".
I would have got it when it came out only I hadn't been born then.
One day I'll kill a scientist who's just invented a time machine, go back to Nineteen-seventy-seven and buy a mint original for the pittance it's really worth rather than getting it from a **** who'll charge me $1,000,000.
I'd probably stop off & see the Sex Pistols at the 100 club while I'm there too.

If there's one thing I've learned in life, then it's people are more likely to turn out to an event based on the food provided than thier own beliefs & ideas.

Chocchip cookie, anyone?

Yeah.  The Rogue Trooper strip has that totally unique shaped speach bubble for the biochips... that suggests that thier voices *sound* very different to how a living person's does but with out being robotic otherwise they'd just use the square speach bubbles that robots use.

All fair comments, but I've just read Rogue Trooper: Fort Neuro... silly accents ago-go!  RT did his fair share of comedy!

But it's my job to betray you!  (Check the job discription)

So unless I rake in the money, the revolution will go ahead as planned.

Either pay up, or I'll stomp on you!

Trout,
After carefully concidering my options, I would like to apply for the post of Official Rabble Rouser & Leader of the Revolution.
I will expect a full paypacket & pension fund + other perks as required.
In return, all rebels not under my command will be outlawed & dealt with most severly & I will see to it that no revolution is ever accomplished, although one will be constantly brewing (what would your war robots do if they didn't have rebel armies to squash?).  This will ensure that no 'real' rebellions threaten your empire.
