Woss likes 2000 AD and Roxy Music - they were the special guests on his final show - so he's all right in my book.

They didn't go into anything in specific, but they confirmed my speculation in yesterday's Amerika review that the wrapup is really close, and that there should be ten volumes of the collected edition in total.

At least I think so.  I don't hear many accents as thick as Robbie's around my neck of the woods.

I'm hoping that Simon & Schuster will have a Sin Dex series before long.  That'll give them the opportunity to insert all the episodes (close to 15 or 20) that the three DC/Rebellion books had skipped, and then redo the big Downlode Tales omission.

Those and a new edition of Red Tide are the only ones on my "fix these" wishlist.

where did you get the whole 'this is wrapping up soon' stuff? Has Morrison pronounced that the latest ark will be the endgame? Frankly the White Army could keep the whole thing going for ages yet.

I could well be mistaken; I hope that I'm not.  If 2000 AD's taught us anything, it's that when a character's story has concluded, it's best to wrap it up and not overstay a welcome (Rogue, Nemesis, etc).  But thanks for the kind thoughts, everybody!

You can read what I have to say about it over at my Bookshelf blog: just clicky here.  And if you like what I wrote, tell yer friends and increase my traffic, would you?  (Clicking that ad on the sidebar leaves me a teeny tip, you know...)

I think it's absolutely criminal that Emperor asks whether there were any news or announcements, and in the very next post, CF mentions that he had a chat with Ian Edginton about upcoming projects and doesn't mention a one of them.  Spill, man!  When's the next series of Stickleback?!

You know, if anybody wants to take over Hand of Tharg once the sites are back up, now sounds like a fantabulous time to do so.  As you might can tell, the coding is easy-peasy and I could e-mail all the html files to whomever wanted to take it over and give their spin...?

If anyone's available to be torn away from BICS, Scott Edelman has a single panel from a girls comic from around 1977.  Can anybody identify it?

I'm certainly not looking forward to buying Judgement Day again, but I would like to say how much I love that placeholder cover for CF 17.  So when's the books site getting an update with the final Fiends and Zombo covers?

Ha! Ha!

What the bloody hell was it reprinted in the Meg floppies for?

Wasn't it to finally make David happy and give him his darn reprint so he'd quit hassling Tharg about it?
