Help! / Need some 'puter help
12 July, 2006, 12:16:23 AM
We're putting together a website for a client who wants the user to be able to hide their visit.

I know you can't specifically do this, but I was wondering seeing as everyone uses different browsers etc., how you could go about it.

I'm using Safari on Mac and it's pretty easy - you just click private browsing. But can anyone tell me how you go about it on:

Firefox, Internet Explorer and any other types of browser?

Alternatively I know you can get rid of history, is there anyway of deleting individual history files rather than having to dump the lot?

I'd appreciate the help, and before you all ask it's not a porn site it's for kids who are in trouble, being abused etc. and don't want parents/teachers etc. finding out they've been online to the site.

Cheers
M

"Belated reaction - What a top series, what great art, and what a clever reuse of a deadly boring character. Flipping ace"

and you saw a bit of nip!

Sounds like is a merchandising bible / guidelines doc.

It looks similar to the one I got for SW ep. 1.

Basically it's a Do's and Don't's for third party companies who are creating anything from tees to comics as well as being an 'authority' for journalists.

They make really great collectors items but are usually cobbled together because they are in-house, business to business stuff and not directly customer facing.

Hi Floyd - been away.

The Lies of Locke Lamora is a novel and it's a bit Nikolai Dante, fantasy, sci-fi and is a brilliant read...
